Background Info.
History: Yamato is connected to the legacy of Shodai because he carries his genes within him. When Orochimaru was still a respected ninja within Konoha, he carried out experimental gene therapy on 60 village children. Orochimaru sought to gain Shodai's Mokuton and Bijuu controlling powers for his own. To that end he obtained genetic material and spliced it into 60 children. Orochimaru soon left and never saw the fruit of his labors. All but one of the children died. Yamato managed to survive and grow into a powerful ninja.
During his training travels Tenzou happened across a swordsmen from the mist. His man Was Grimjow, but most refered to him as "Hellsbadass". Him and yamato became friends and soon Grim (for short) taugh him the basics of blind fighting, or fighting in the mist. Yamato soon became an expert in fighting in thick mist using nothing but his sense of sound to track and kill his prey. [if you look through my training history you will find this to be true]
Yamato took some time off to explore the land and get inspiration for his book. During his travels he came across a lone man traning in a field. I asked him his name and he responded with a cold , “Mr. G”. A storm swiftly fell upon us as the tension rose. Suddenly, he attacked as if he was testing my mettle. The battle raged on for days, growing more and more intense. Theroughout the battle I noticed my mokuton techniques shared many similarities with his kaguya techniques. If he shot bone bullets I shot wooden needles, if he grew a giant spear on his arm I responded the same. On the 3rd day of battle, the battle reached the climax, and as he pulled out his hammer of thor I could have swore I saw fat people with viking helmets singing behind him. We exchanged massive blows ending in a double KO. As we awoke, Mr. G looked over at me and exclaimed, “That.. Was… EPIC!!!”. We began to talk and Mr. G, who told me to call him Goro from now on, told me about a project he was working on to create a new element. We worked on this for months and wen we finished a new element was born. Liquid Hydrogen.
while helping Naruto control the raging bijuu within, Naruto explained the details of how he developed sage mode. Intrigued, Tenzou practiced this technique at night while naruto slept, developing his skill in secret. Tenzou did not have access to the toad oil so he used the elements to which he had access, Mokuton. After Months of practice, Tenzou developed his own variation of sage mode, which he dubbed Senju Hermit Mode. This granted Tenzou power from the life of the trees much like how Naruto draws on life from nature as a whole. The result is an increased control and understanding of his Mokuton gift. This lead to the develoment of stronger mokuton techniques and usage of strong and versitile mokuton weapons, most notable the ability to change shape and length of the weapons by channeling mokuton chakra into them.
Months later...
It was a fierce battle between Yamato and his long time rival Izuna Uchiha. The battle raged for what seemed like days. Neither side would let up, and it resonated with past memories of when hasirama fought Madara in what is now known as the valley of the end. Suddenly, through the sheets of rain, "Katon: Intense Pain!". A large fire blast was sent at Tenzou and the showdown began. A returned blast fo fire ignited a strugle between the two. In an intense fit of rage Yamato channeled rediculous amounts of fire chakra into the blast and the resultant blast glowed like the heavens and overpowered the opposing blast. Taking advantage of the resulting confusion, Izuna channeled a massive Kirin and dealt what would be a fatal blow to Yamato. If it hadnt been for the dense insulating layer of porous wood that Yamato covered his body with, he would have died that day. Neither Yamato nor Izuna forgot the occurance which happened that day and they each developed White Fire which they still continue to use against each other to this day.
