When the clash, The man snaps his fingers creating another wave of energy that throws Malric into the air. "Its more than just you...but soon it wont matter..."
"Terrifying..." he sighs looking up at the rift with her. "So anywho..." he opens the door and gestures for her to come in. "I need your help.
While hovering in midair, a pair of tentacle hands grow on the back of Malric. With these, he was able to hang on a tree. "....Yeah, you have a point, it doesn't matter indeed.......Whatever you are planning wont stop us from getting more souls. Hahahahaha"

"one, what do you know about the seal on scarlet that binds her to this realm, anything?" he sits on the couch brushing his long silver hair back out of his face

Malric jumps backwards from the tree while the tentacle hands hold onto the branches. Having the extension needed,"Get ready!" he launches himself -Human Catapult- onto Kagetane.

"Hahahahaha! This body has yet to reach its limits without using that mode. Besides we can still enhance it more with the reserve of Lifeforce that Lud have made. That Lud, that Lud, Hahahahaha...instead of "trainning", we should call it "refueling". But we dont want to use that now, and sadly we cannot reproduce what he did even though we possess his body.

As the man laughs a kunai gets thrown in his location. the kunai gets stuck in a tree next to the masked man and from a distance Malric can see a figure that Lud would recognize as Ryun and as he comes closer towards malric he can see that Ryun's form is flickering.
"This is your chance Lud, This is why you were given the Strength arcana, you have the strength to regain control"
Ryun stands next to Malric, his eyes glowing red. "The arcana are unique in that they can unlock a greater potential in us all. You were given this power because fate decided that it wanted you to be in control. Now decide, are you going to let these spirits control, or are you going to tap into your potential and fight this!"

The masked man snaps his fingers and begins to vanish. "Fine, maybe another time..." he chuckles as his form fades away

-After being able to suppress us thanks to a certain person, Lud was able to regain his former abilities (Taking someone's spirit without the need to kill). And in oder to get stronger, he had to steal many, many souls. So he left Scarlet mountain to fulfill that quest. Rapists, convicts, killers were his target. He converted their essence into his own, but the body wasn't fully ready for that and the reserve was made. Lud cannot use our full power without going into "Berserk mode", the need to enhance his body was a must. But he couldn't do it to the level that he needed and during the processus a flaw was there for us to exploit and the result bring us here.-
Even though they were criminels, he didn't have the right to take their soul, right?.........Why would you help someone like him?...argh.....He have killed us before, there's no way we will let him be....."
