Looking rather dejected the bear jumps back into the mountain forest and disappears from site.

The boy's eyes are still wide open in disbelief, though his expression showed very little emotion. Even still it was more than obvious that the boy was more than surprised about the recent turn of events.

What just happened

My real ability is that I can consume completely the soul of my victims. After a number of victims, it get evolved and I could devour their soul without the need to kill them. A god took an interest about it and proposed me to be his servant. I refused at first, but he was persistant and I told him my conditions and he didn't like them. So after a failed negociation, a fight broke out....."

"I dont know how I get that ability, but when I killed someone and consumed his soul, I could get stronger.

The monster was born, at every New moon, I lost control and they took over for a moment."

He places his hand on his left eye as it turns red. "With the eyes of a shinigami you will be able to see life span of humans and when they will die. there are so many other things youll be able to do though, so if you want the power of a shinigami, you must be prepared mentally for all it entails "
