Scare Tactics can't be real

Okay, for those of you that know the show Scare Tactics, you know what I'm talking about and I don't have to explain it. xd It can't possibly be real though. I mean seriously? Half the time the person they're trying to scare is backed into a corner...and when someone is backed into a corner and thinks their life is in danger, they do some wild shit to save themselves.

Me personally, if I wasn't previously informed that what was going on was an act, I'd have probably have killed the dude trying to scare me before they could even tell me I was on Scare Tactics. Of course, I've been in life or death situations before, so that stuff doesn't affect me at all, I just do what needs to be done and heads start to roll.

So why do they try to sell Scare Tactics like it's real? I can tell it's fake from the staging and acting alone. I'd notice the cameras before I stepped in the room...even if they tried their hardest to hide them. Then again, I notice things most people don't.

What's your opinion on this?

Exactly, but you'd do more than that, you'd lash out and potentially kill the person. In a life or death situation, the human mind does not hesitate, believe me. It's kill or be killed, and your mind conjures up this instinct. The person trying to scare you doesn't have that fear so they're not as deadly; you, on the other hand, would be lethal since your adrenaline is pumping.

I agree with you 100% with the "if in that situation" You would attack/probably kill the person in defense.
I would more than likely end up seriously injuring the person/get whatever they have away from them until I know they can't cause a threat to me anymore just because I can't see myself killing anyone.

Well, I'm not so kind...it would be immediate death in that sort of situation. I know of many ways to kill instantly with just my hands, let alone a weapon. If someone holds a weapon to threaten me, they better be ready to use it against me or I'll make them wish they had. As a prank, it would be extremely foolish to not inform me that it was indeed a prank.

Sure it's a real show, but the people being pranked are acting just as much as the others.

I might as well be, but no, I've never been in the armed forces. Just a guy that has had a few brushes with death and did what needed to be done, and in one case I came close to actually killing someone (my own brother, no less).

Hesitation will get you killed for sure...but trust me, in such a situation, you'll either freeze entirely and be killed, or you'll kill your opponent. There is no in-between in this.
