And so? The truth is that when the manga ends the next generation will only watch the anime since every episode will be animated meaning that there won't be any difference between canon and filler. Besides, when an episode is made well, does it really matter if the creator himself wrote it or not? Chikara arc was also a filler but I really liked it because its plot was very good.
