Naruto's chakra cloak takes a toll on his body, it's not gonna protect him from being KO'd.

well actually thats just what it was, a scratch. He scratched his headband, he didnt use rasengan.

OT: I dont think plot is a good excuse cause then you could use that excuse for almost all fights. If you just list the butts or what ifs or "why didnt he", then in all the fight there wont be a clear winner.
