Ya know, I always wondered...If you have to have both Tsukiyomi and Amaterasu to unlock the Susano'o, how in the world did Madara Uchiha unlock it?
Don't say that he had both Tsukiyomi and Amaterasu and didn't use it, because that would be stupid. They would've been very useful in all of his battles.
I thought Amaterasu is only Itachi's "thing", and Sasuke got it due to it being passed down.

Plus, Sasuke's other EMS ocular power is to control Amaterasu, right? If he had never gotten it, would his eye serve no purpose?

Sasukes Genjutsu:

-Magen Kasegui no Jutsu: used on Orochimaru(score 5)

-Iatsu Sharingan: used on Sai and C. Sai declared himself as "emotionless", but coudn't do anything against these Genjutsu.
C, who is a master of Genjutsu and of great chakra control(he's a sensor too) lost against it too.
C said, strong Genjutsu like Sasukes are rare.

-Genjutsu Sharingan: even Danzōs Sharingan coudn't realise Sasukes Jutsu.

If itachi was the only one who could use tsukuyomi in the Uchiha, how is it that Madara knew about it before itachi even awoke his sharingan? He knew about the tsukuyomi enongh to make it his goal "infinite tsukuyomi" way before itachi even had the normal sharingan, now I know it's just a name for his operation, but if the name of itachi's genjutsu was around before itachi himself, and not only that madara knew that the tsukuyomi was a genjutsu, and that it required MS, now if itachi was the only one who could use tsukuyomi, how could Madara have known about it, and it's abilities, before itachi could even use it? That points to Tsukuyomi being used way before itachis' birth, and that it was probably common amongst the Uchiha. I think it's exactly as itachi said, that you need it in order to awaken susano'o, because that would mean Madara had it before itachi was born, which is why he already knew so much about a genjutsu that didn't even exist then. Also I had some people tell me that's it's probably not the same genjutsu, and that Madara probably just used the name, since tsukuyomi is actually Japanese, but there's evidence that suggest that it is the same genjustsu, just on a grander scale, since Madara tsukuyomi is supposed to control someone, and that itachis' tsukuyomi just puts you in his illusion, but when he went against kabuto with sasuke, at the end of their battle itachi used tsukuyomi on him to make him undo the edo tensei jutsu, and when sasuke used it to make that one cloud ninja tell him where killer bee was. It shows that the tsukuyomi also has the ability to control someone. Now idk if sasuke was using the same genjustsu with that cloud ninja, but I do know that the genjustsu that itachi used, and the genjustsu Madara planned to use, are more the likely the same genjutsu. Which means itachi wasn't the only Uchiha who could use tsukuyomi nor was he the first one to use it either, otherwise Madara couldn't have known about it.
