I think it was Sakura's assumption, but nothing hints towards Sasuke actually taking drugs. Actually, Sakura mentioned the possibility of him learning forbidden jutsu, but clearly her theory was contradicted as Sasuke displayed no forbidden jutsu.

Oro trained his body to resist poison and I think Kakashi mentioned something about drugs but I doubt it was excessive.
It was Sakura making an assumption because of Sasuke's growth in 2 1/2 or 3 years was somehow unnatural. Same as kakashi but I don't know for sure or not if Sasuke was actually resistant to poison.

Sasuke was proficient in Shuriken-Jutsu since his academy days. He trapped Orochimaru in the death forest using his skill. I sincerely doubt he gave him any training regards Chakra control and Genjutsu either, as Sasuke had already learned Chidori by then; a complete tech. Orochimaru didn't even know about any Chakra-based Raiton Ninjutsu. He knew about Kirin, but that doesn't require any chakra. So, I am not sure how that applies. I do, more or less, agree with the rest.

Sakura's assumption on Sasuke using drugs was just that; a pitiful assumption. Sasuke is a rare prodigy. There is nothing spectacular about him gaining ranks much faster than others, when he learned to use the first gate and Chidori within a few weeks. She was simply shocked. Nothing in the manga backs this fiction up.

I know they all were assumptions but it was never ruled out so its a huge possibility. Especially the poison thing.

He can use the first gate's speed ... like Kakashi.

No he cannot. Sasuke never trained for gates. He trained to attain lee's speed w/o his weights.

Sasuke never saw Lee without weights. He only trained for Taijutsu and matched the speed.

The weightless speed IS gate one speed. Initial Lotus cannot be used without it:

There is ZERO speed increase till the Harm gate isn't opened, which is the kick-start point for Extreme Loctus initiation, which is a fifth gate move:

I will give you the shuriken jutsu point. However, I didn't say anything about chakra control, but chakra capacity/reserves. I assume that, due to Sasuke's improvement in the number of times he could use Chidori, he worked on his chakra capacity during the 2 years.

I think he did help Sasuke with Genjutsu because Sasuke was able to counter all of Itachi's Genjutsu. I doubt he was able to develop that much Genjutsu resistance on his own, especially considering he broke out of Tsukuyomi. Training with a partner increases the training's effectiveness. That's why I think Oro trained Sasuke in Genjutsu resistance by casting Genjutsu on him. What better way to learn than to simulate the actual situation? There's no way Sasuke just confronted Itachi and winged it when he broke out of the Tsukuyomi. Obviously Oro couldn't have cast a Genjutsu as powerful as Tsukuyomi, but I think he put Sasuke through some brutal stuff to strengthen his resistance.

I never said that Oro taught Sasuke any Raiton jutsus. I actually said that Sasuke probably taught himself the Chidori variants as well as Kirin, if you read the paragraph at the end of the OP.

This is what that part was for:

With regards to shape manipulation in Ninjutsu, Sasuke was probably guided only slightly by Oro, if at all.

CC isn't just for ninjutsu. It's used even when a Ninja is moving at high speed; wall climbing and running over water being the other two. Granted you did refute it, but I believe I was wrong as well. Given that CC and all Ninja movement, Genjutsu etc hinge upon good control, I cannot see Sasuke getting there without Orochimaru teaching him to better it.

I retract my earlier statement; he was definitely aided in CC quite a lot. Which would explain that high speed combat he learned, along with his Genjutsu prowess.

Sasuke has gates, confirmed.

There is not a ninja alive who wouldn't have gates, as they are nothing but 'barriers' for chakra. The only difference between Lee/Gai and others is that the former can open the gates, others cannot.

You cannot even take a jab without being a complete dumbass, can you?

Yet Sasuke never used Initial Lotus and its Gate 4 that increases speed. Lee trained naturally for that speed. The first gate unlocks the brain and increases a little in strength.

Sasuke never trained for gates. He copied Lee's Speed with Sharingan and built on that. Kakashi even says this.

The rock climbing Kakashi did, didnt increase his speed it opened his mind.

He's trained for the speed an Initial Gate would deliver. That is an undisputed fact. I never claimed he trained for opening gates' limiters.

What? - Did you even bother to read the scans? Initial Lotus is done AFTER opening the first gate.

Sharingan cannot copy speed. He never saw weightless Lee fight or his speed. What the heck are you even talking about?

Sasuke wouldn't use drugs. Sakura didn't say that either; she said she was so surprised by his growth that it was like he used drugs. Dunno why she would think that an Uchiha genius wouldn't grow by leaps and bounds after a couple of years of intensive training. Besides, drugs can't make you more skilled, they can only make you more powerful/faster for a temporary period.
I agree, even his future wife had doubts about his improvements. I on the other hand, never did! :flowers <3

My mistake I remember now. Kakashi trained Sasuke to improve his speed and copy Lee's Taijutsu all to master Chidori properly. He had Sasuke picture Lee's taijutsu with his Sharingan and copy it. He achieved the speed through training not gates. Sasuke has never used any type of Lotus. Kakashi can barely even open the first gate.

Besides, the First Gate does not increase speed so that settles that.
