Sasuke's teleportation

[Remedy]

Sasuke has an ability to swap places in a limited area.

Back in 674 when he attacked the Limbo Madara, the sword passed through the former and landed on the ground, near Naruto. Later on, when Madara attacked Sasuke, it seems like Sasuke switched places with his sword, and landed near Naruto, while the sword pierced through Madara.

Then in 679 we see him do the same thing when he teleports behind Madara to stop the transformation.

So in theory his ability is kind of like Trafalgar Law's from One Piece, just in a smaller area. So his teleportation isn't like Minato's or Tobirama's where he can teleport to marked areas miles apart from each other.

I think the ability drains hims, a couple chapters ago he had his rinnegan closed, like it was on cooldown.

Kishmoto has just been screwing up his eyes ever since Sasuke got the rinnengan. There were times where if u believe he lost tomoe then he still had them, and times when he didn't even use the technique and he had no tomoe.

IMO Sasuke just has 6T. That's the most he has shown since the comparison with Naruto. Kishi IMO only showed it with 9 to compare it to Naruto's cloak (possibly hinting that both of Sasuke's eyes work together. 6+3

OT: What did Sasuke switch with in this chapter?

Sasuke teleports the only restriction is range. He is not Swapping places with anything because looking at the scan from this weeks chapter nothing was left in his place when he teleported behind Kaguya.

Yea it definitly drains him, just strange how his tomoes behave.

He does not only swap places, he also shifts objects in that range as he pleases.

He has always been fast, and he is even faster with the new eye. I don't think it's a brand new skill.
