Sasuke's Susano'o will fly.

I've made this thread before, quite awhile ago, but there wasn't enough facts in the manga to back it up last time.

Firstly this is the order of Susano'o powerups.

Limbs such as hands, etc > Incomplete Susano'o > Perfect Susano'o > Stabilized Perfect Susano'o.

I'm pretty sure we've all been waiting for Sasuke to show something unique in his abilities, other then following in his brother's footsteps with the genjutsu, Amaterasu etc. Both Naruto and Sasuke need something unique to their characters, they are the mains of the story. Naruto still doesn't have anything unique yet, controlling a tailed beast is a feat already accomplished by Killer B, but the thread isn't about him.

I believe Sasuke's Susano'o will fly once he's acquired the Rinnegan to stabilize it. It's already been proven that you need the Rinnegan to stabilize a Susano'o, as Madara didn't have the stabilized version of his when he was fighting Hashirama. Since we've only seen a stabilized Susano'o once, we only have Madara's Susano'o to pull facts out of. Every Susano'o up until Madara's hasn't had a real, solid shape. When Madara stabilized his, the chakra focused and created a solid shape, depicting an armored warrior. I believe this is key here.

I believe all stabilizing the Susano'o does is solidify the chakra, making it stronger and revealing the Susano'o's true form.

A common misconception is that Sasuke's Susano'o isn't a Perfect Susano'o. This is wrong, Sasuke has reached the pinnacle of what he can do with his Susano'o in his current state, he just needs the Rinnegan to advance further.

Firstly, Sasuke's summoning is hawks. This already ties him down to that animal. Secondly, his Susano'o's cloak has a beak, so it's already hinted what his final form is going to be like.

Simply put, once Sasuke has acquired the Rinnegan and stabilized his Susano'o, it will solidify and take on it's true form of a hawk and will be able to fly.

OR, the beak will remained attached to his cloak and the Susano'o will become a warrior similar to Madara's except it will have wings. I think this is a bit more possible then it turning into a hawk, since Sasuke's Susano'o's final form only has the beak as apart of the cloak.

If sasuke's susanoo flies it will be because of his hawk, if anything he could cover his hawk in susanoo armor & use it like madara did to kurama. His susanoo will not sprout wings on its own & start flying.

You don't know what you're talking about. A Perfect Susano'o doesn't have to be stabilized, Sasuke's one isn't currently. Why do you think when Madara activated his Susano'o, he had to stabilize it afterwards? Do you see Sasuke stabilizing his Susano'o every time he summons it?

The Rinnegan is not needed to stabilize Susano'o in to its perfect state. That is a fallacy that has been proven wrong by the fight at the VoTE.

OT: I agree. Each Susano'o is different and is based on certain mythological Tengu's. Sasuke's in particular has wings in the mythology so it is entirely in the realm of possibility.

i think kabuto forshadowed sasukes next step, i think he will either gain a sage mode better than his curse mark that will be a real dragon with wings so he will be able to fly or his susanoo will he some kind of hawk or dragon.

Interesting analysis. I hope in the end Sasuke and Naruto's abilities will be uniquely doubled, so as if they could merge their powers together for a final blow. Seeing as Susano'o IS Chakra, I'm sure with the power Sasuke can meld it into however he needs. But imagine the Chakra exhaustion to continually allow it to fly..
And I think it would be really stupid for Sasuke to get Rinnegan. He's an Uchiha who will go down like an Uchiha; with Sharingan. I'm hoping.
He will be able to unveil PS without Rinnegan.

If Sasuke has the completed version of his EMS Susano'o, that makes it a Perfect Susano'o. Not every Perfect Susano'o is a giant warrior you know? That is unique to Madara's EMS, he alone has that much power. You MUST have a Perfect Susano'o to stabilize it, it's absolutely essential, otherwise the true form will be incomplete. It's like trying to complete a puzzle without all the pieces.

Madara didn't use the stabilized version of Susano'o at the VoTE. This already proves you need the Rinnegan to stabilize it.

The term tengu and the characters used to write it are borrowed from the name of a fierce demon from Chinese folklore called tiāngoǔ. Chinese literature assigns this creature a variety of descriptions, but most often it is a fierce and anthropo****ous canine monster that resembles a shooting star or comet. It makes a noise like thunder and brings war wherever it falls.

Tengu are commonly depicted holding magical ha-uchiwa (羽団扇 "leaf fan"?), fans made of feathers.

You're forgetting the fact that Sasuke's summoning is hawks.

Also, that picture you linked specifically has wings. I already knew they were based off Tengu gods, but the fact that they have wings makes this theory is pretty accurate.
