Yeah since this manga focuses on peace which Naruto and Sasuke both want but in different ways, then there will be a battle between them. Sasuke will get enlightend and realize the sacrifices and achievements of Itachi, Hashirama, Nagato (in the end) etc.

When Naruto befriended all the bijuu they all agreed that he resembled the good will and desire for peace, friendship... that SO6P had. So yeah I agree with you =D
