Man, You beat me to it. I was just about to comment on that. Sasuke wasn't able to complete his attack. He was forced to stop and block the shadow madara's attack. He didn't blitz Madara/shadow Madara or even evade Shadow Madara. Naruto has proven he can evade shadow madara's attack.

I find that to be funny because all we have heard over the past few weeks was how Sasuke can blitz anybody, he is the fastest character in the manga, he can use his new eye jutsu to switch/teleport jutsu like Naruto's TBBRS, yet that didn't happen.

He didn't blitz he couldn't. It that simple. Sasuke was even fast enough to evade the shadow madara attack or even complete his own attack. He was forced to block.

I know don't want to talk about it and that because this scenario is very different than the previous one. In this scenario Madara was focus on Sasuke and his teammates. When Sasuke cut him in half he was not focus on Sasuke and Sasuke attack him from the near. A slower ninja can hit a faster ninja if they attack them from the near and surprise them. It has happened several times throughout the manga. Those are very different scenario.

Naruto's foot speed is faster. The problem here is if Sasuke's rinnegan enhanced speed or susanoo speed is faster than Naruto. It's pretty close to say the least.

notice on the panel on the right Sasuke pulls out his chidori blade and swings it back so he can hit the clone guarding madara. Naruto at this point is just a bit behind sasuke or side by side, it's hard to see from a upfront angle. The time taken for sasuke to assume an attack stance with the blade was enough for Naruto to catch up as his only goal was to retrieve sakura.

Nahhh there were 4 clones, so including the real madz, there were 5. Each clone did only 1/5th damage. What else could explain how else sasuke could possibly have blocked a limbo clone attack completely unfazed.

You can clearly see Naruto just behind sasuke, moving closer to sakura, in that center right panel...
You're acting like naruto was 100 yards away when he was probably no more than 10 feet behind and lunged himself at sakura. If anything, this shows the opposite considering they both noticed sakura dashing, yet Sasuke was the one with the lead?
