Thats more of a diabolical smile. I think he means a happy one. It would be nice for Sasuke to find peace and one day be happy. Now that he knows the Uchiha stone monument has been tampered with maybe he can become happy knowing that it's not excactly the right path, and he can find his own.

I was just joking. I know Of course,I think he was finding his new path ever since he met with Itachi again. I of course as a fan want to see Sasuke happy at the end of all of this.
