Not gonna bother posting BSM Naruto's authentic tanking Feats or how Sasuke attained the Senjutsu Susanoo. The thing I want to point out is that Naruto was so low on Chakra at that time (thanks to soloing war field) he couldn't even go BM, he took Chakra from Minato just to barely manage a BM and added his Senjutsu, in essence it was the most worn out BSM and thus he lost it, had it been a rested BSM, nothing would have happened.

your thinking about this wrong. the armor covered both of them. it was a joint effort, if it breaks they take equal damage. if one was weaker, it would get built up by the stronger armor to form one armor.

naruto's couldve been weaker (for the sake of this post) but we would never know since it was a kyuubi susanno fusion

You're not making any sense. If one defense is more powerful than it would have showed. I understand both were destroyed but the way defence works is that it protects you. If both were protected any less than the other one would be more hurt than the other. They both got back up without any major injuries meaning it's equal.
