As it certainly isn't a Rinne-Sharingan like Madara's and Kaguya's, and since it has tomoe, could it be a mixture of two Rinnegans in one eye? Hagoromo gave the power of his eyes to Sasuke, which would imply that he gave Sasuke the power of BOTH of his Rinnegan. Perhaps Sasuke's single eye possesses the power of both of Hagoromo's eyes?

It might have been a drawing error, as Sasuke's Rinnegan has had some flaws in design in some chapters.
Nonetheless, Sasuke's Rinnegan is purple and Madara's is red.

But wouldn't Sasuke require Naruto's chakra to awaken it? Hashirama was not Ashura's reincarnation at that time.

All of you are wrong. Sasuke awakened his eye by accepting Itachi's wishes, Naruto's friendship (how he awakened the 3 tomoe), and its been confirmed that when an Uchiha learns to love again the power increases beyond the hatred version I believe.

Something along those lines, but the sage power up were only the symbols nothing more. Hashirama dna was useless since ashura didn't live in him anymore, and the fact that he did get the fox and naruto's chakra is kind of hard to say.

He did, but Idk for sure if that triggered his awakening. All assumptions though.

He did get the fox/naruto's chakra when he gave him the cloak...logically he still has it...everyone does (and sasuke/the bijuu's chakra at that since I guess).

Also I think Ameno was Kaguya's thing, she was stronger than the sage...and she used it most which I assume is her most powerful move/counter.

You've misunderstood my statement. I said that Hagoromo's double Rinnegans may be mixed in Sasuke's single Rinnegan, giving him the tomoe.
I just said that according to the name relation, Hagoromo should have been the one to use Amenotejikara, Sasuke's S/T jutsu.

Amenominaka is Kaguya's, Amenotejikara is Sasuke's. Because of the relation in the name, I'm saying Amenotejikara belongs to Hagoromo.
