[Theory] Sasuke's Rinnegan?

I don't know but madara saying it's just a "Rinnegan" might cost him, he underestimates it. Maybe it got other abilities than sharigan so sasuke wants both abilities at the same time who knows... surprise us kishi!

Since this is a hot topic right now I'm going to explain why he's only got a single rinnegan, and why it's on his left side.
The chapter the sage gave Sasuke and Naruto their power he said "place your dominant hand out and I will grant you power". Naruto placed up his right, while Sasuke his left. This suggests that Sasuke is left handed. Humans also have a dominant eye as well. I'm guessing that's probably Sasuke's left eye.
A lot of people are saying he's only got one because the Juubi, and Kaguya did as well, but I don't think this is really the reason. The sage may have wanted to limit Sasuke's powers since he still is unsure about trusting him. So naturally he's going to only grant him a singlt rinnegan.

By the end, Sasuke needs the other eye to be to 10 tails eye as well. Untill Sasuke gets the eye, i reckon he has a half power up. PS Sasuke should have wood release.

Madara said it's a rinnengan!He clearly saw the eye and called it rinnengan.
Maybe Madara's eyes were not ultimate rinnengans.
I'm surprised that you know that it's not a rinnengan.

I think plot-wise kishi did that in order for Sasuke to be equal to Naruto, since Naruto's power-ups are not done with yet, after the war is over he'd still get the other half of Kurama, so kishi is restricting Sasuke to one eye so that when Naruto gets Kurama's other half inside of Madara, Sasuke awakens his other sharinnegan and they remain equal that way
Sasuke only got one Rinnegan(as said by Madara himself) probably for the same reason that Naruto only got a part from the senjutsu of the six paths.
Pay attention that the cloak of Naruto is incomplete and that this 'rod' is actually two rods. The length of the cloak(half the size it should be) and the two rod implies that only a half of the senjutsu(of the six paths) chakra given to Naruto and so is Sasuke — His is given only a half of the rinnegan power.
Why? Why Naruto and Sasuke got only a half-power of the power that given to them? One can only guess. I'd love to hear theories about it.
