The third eye is a Sharingan not a Rinnegan. It's red....plus Hagaromo even said it was a Sharingan. Sasuke's eye is purple-ish like a normal Rinnegan, it just has tomoe.

Y'all just making excuses for Sasuke's lackluster performance lately..

one could argue that The Third Eye is both a Sharingan and Rinngan in other words a Sharinnegan.

both Madara and Black Zetsu said it was a Rinnegan. Hagoromo said Kaguya had Sharingan powers. If that eye allowed Sasuke to see Limbo clones and protection from MT, then it must be a Rinnegan. Just pointing that out.
