Sasuke's relationship with his parents

Does anyone else think that it hasn't been emphasised throughout the series as much as it should have?

Whenever Sasuke talked about avenging the clan, there were never really any flashbacks that singled out his parents. We still don't know how Sasuke feels towards his father, whether or not he hates him for comparing him to Itachi and planning the coup or whether he loves him. He loved his mother as we saw from part 1.

It seems as if Itachi's relationship with his parents (particularly Fugaku) was emphasised more than Sasuke's relationship with them was. I know it's the whole clan he wants to avenge but I thought his parents would be his main driving force.

Dad = wants to make him proud
Mom= wants to make her proud also ease up and let him play with itachi

Father: distant relationship. His mother insisted that his father talked about him the most but didn't want to spoil Sasuke. He wanted Sasuke to earn his respect. Sasuke did this by preforming the great fire ball technique (i think that's the name) when he was seven, though that's a technique beyond genin. After that their relationship improved, and his father was mroe openly proud

Mother: much closer relationship though not explored like his relationship to his father

The majority of YouTube comments make more sense than that . Sasuke is top ten. He is the second most important character in the entire series. He is going through redemption. Thus, he will have actions to prove he is worth of redemption. He will have feats coming up. He is not fodder.
