Sasuke's reasons for wanting to be Hokage are...actually more valid than Naruto's.

Well Naruto has been shown wanting to change the system hence Jiraiya's will and Minato's speech and the fact that Naruto's will hasn't changed shows he would be a better Hokage, since Sasuke seems to be changing his mind every 10 minutes, 'I want to kill Itachi', 'I want to destroy Konoha', 'I want to become Hokage' what's next...'I want to rule the shinobi world' As selfless as his goal seems he's only doing them because he doesn't want what happened to him happen to anyone else he doesn't care about the problems of others.

Anyway with Kishi's obvious fangasm of the Uchiha and Sasuke it wouldn't surprise me if Sasuke did become Hokage.

But I would be disappointed as I thought this series was meant to be about how hard work overcomes everything else. Yet giving the Hokage position to someone who's just suddenly decided they wanted it and who's had every power up pretty much given to him goes completely against that.

If Sasuke does become Hokage it just shows Kishimoto never once cared for the hard work overcomes everything (He probably never did look at Rock Lee) and his skills as a story developer are really poor.

And yeah his intentions may carry more weight but the way he does it is what actually matters. We have no idea what sort of village Sasuke is idealising. Also with Naruto it's true the Kyuubi has saved him however back then he didn't want the Kyuubi's help and worked his ass off, learning to climb trees despite his disadvantages with chakra control, learn the Rasengan again his chakra control made it harder, and he worked his ass off to learn Sage mode and Rasenshuriken.

Then let's look at Sasuke...fire jutsu all given to him by his clan, Chidori given to him because he had the Sharingan and even then he was able to learn it quickly because of his Sharingan, then he was given training by Orochimaru who was given Sasuke everything as he wanted to take over Sasuke's body, Itachi practically spoon fed Sasuke the Mangekyo and he actually gave Sasuke the EMS after his death, then we have again Hashirama 'giving' Sasuke something again in the recent chapters...see the pattern here.

Also you completely undermine yourself with Naruto vs Neji argument as the whole battle was meant to show hard work > Natural genius. Also num nuts Naruto actually defeated all Pains with SM and Rasengan.

Exactly... I keep seeing people say that Sasuke has a better reason for wanting to become Hokage or that he would make a better Hokage, but we have no clue as to how he will change it. People suspect that he would correct the mistakes the previous Hokage made, but Sasuke hasn't quite acted as a hokage since he decided to become one, so we don't know what Sasuke thinks a hokage is supposed to be.

Since he is doing the opposite of what Itachi told Naruto to do, I can't see him become a great Hokage.

Naruto on the other hand acts like a Hokage. He listened to Itachi's advice and is starting to become a great Hokage candidate. Naruto acknowledges the village's strength, while Sasuke wants to change everything himself. Itachi already told him that doing things on your own will lead to failure, but he isn't listening.

Since shippuden started, Naruto has been seeing how corrupted the ninja system is. He isn't clueless like some people make him out to be. He is trying to get rid of all the hatred in the world, but he know he can't do it alone, that's why he has friends that can help him.

Naruto is not the Typical manga and Uzumaki naruto is also not a Typical Anime character infact Uzumaki Naruto is a unique Anime Main character
