The story of Naruto was better from Sasukes POV. The reality of ninja was very grim when comparing it to real life standards. The manga honestly needed more Sasuke. If it stayed focus on Sasuke more like in p1 and early p2 the story would be more memorable

The story was about Naruto. And I think Kishi should have focus more on the "griminess" of the ninja world than giving us bullshit. Kishi became more mainstream after Part 1.

The idea of Otsutsuki was actually good but Kishi executed it badly because he was doing everything in a rush instead of deciding to take a small hiatus like Hunter x Hunter's author

Lol......Sasuke ruined this manga, had it been from Sasuke's point of view it would have been nothing but edgy emo manga barely better than AGK.

Had it been TOTALLY from Naruto's PoV it would have been a perfectly delightful shounen, he had enough grim and dark parts of his past to keep the balance between the happy and dark tones without the emo Sasuke stealing screentime from everyone and everything.

if story focused on sasuke's POV then it would be the most unstable manga ever existed. The guy couldn't stick to a single goal.

He wanted to avenge his clan but he took a turn and decided to destroy konoha. After getting Itachi's eyes, he decided to protect konoha and tried to become hokage. Like wtf? It sounds like some crazy psychopath.

I dont see why people cant change their goals. Sasuke path was never a solid one he was always dealing with the trauma of losing his clan

I cant stress enough how important Sasukes role was to this story. No other ninja bothered tried to directly tackle the darkness that was embedded throughout the series. I mean naruto tried but it was often centered around his own self serving agendas which were extrememly boring and cliche btw, like becoming hokage and saving a friend. Naruto wanted peace on earth like a messiah, Sasuke wanted the same thing at heart but he lets his overburdened emotions cloud his thinking. These things do not make Sasuke a bad character but a good one because you can try to relate and better understand his character. He's complex and that's why some people dislike him because they don't bother trying to see things from his side.

If Sasukes point of view was more focused on he would be more liked and the story would obviously be better as Sasuke actually thought out what makes the ninja system the way it is.
