About This Thread. ​ After a chapter like the one we got today, its no wonder that the fans are going a little crazy. Sasuke did something that was fairly obvious that he would do, just not in the way he did it. The way he chose to start his plan was a little different than what most people thought, and because of it, people have given their opinions on it. That is what I will do, however I will also address the "opinions" of others which are bluntly placed as hatred towards his character. So lets get on with it, shall we? Scared of the Hokages? ​ There is the opinion that Sasuke was scared of the Hokage, and because of that he waited with exposing his plan until they were gone. This may be true, but I don't think he would lose that easily and I even think he would have a chance to beat the four of them if they fought. That is not what he was afraid of. Even though he would be able to deal with the four of them, he couldn't deal with Naruto afterwards. So I don't think he waited because he was afraid of them, no, I think he waited because he was scared that he wouldn't be able to defeat all of them, including Naruto and then finish his plan. Scared of the Gokages? ​ Sasuke is not afraid of the Gokages, that is not why he said he would kill them while they are still within the Genjutsu. Sasuke has a plan to take the lead of the Shinobi world after the Genjutsu ends, he cannot do that with the Gokages being alive. So he wants to rid the world of them, by killing them. Now, there are several reasons why he would chose to kill them within the Genjutsu, one of them are that he is afraid of them, but I doubt that. I doubt it because Madara with the Rinnegan was far too much for the Gokages to even rival a little, Sasuke holds the same power as Madara and more. (In other words, the current Sasuke is above the Gokage's in terms of strength.) He may aim to kill them while they are trapped to avoid a fight with them alongside Naruto, but I doubt that too. If that was the case then he would never had said it, he would just have killed them before stating his plan. No, I think Sasuke stated his plan to gain the upper hand against Naruto and then deal with everyone else afterwards. After they all are dead, he would take care of the Gokages and end the Genjutsu, being the only one left when the rest wake up. He can then give them any story he wishes to gain power. If the Gokages were still alive, then he wouldn't be able to do that. Naruto vs Sasuke ​ As far as we know, Sasuke didn't gain power from his Yin seal as he never resorted to it. However, we know that Naruto gained a very strong healing ability from his Yang seal. Both those seals have now returned to Hagoromo, meaning that neither have them now. Sasuke also have the Bijuu in his full control at the moment, while Naruto has used a whole lot of his chakra. (Sasuke has too, but its no doubt that Naruto has used more.) This means that currently, Naruto has less firepower and likely, less chakra reserves than Sasuke. Not to mention that even Hagoromo was surprised over Sasuke's mastership of Genjutsu and the Rinnegan. To surprise someone like that is special, meaning Sasuke has a very strong Genjutsu as well. All in all, the current Sasuke has more Ninjutsu and Genjutsu capabilities than Naruto, though Naruto probably wins in pure Taijutsu. The problem is that Sasuke only manipulates the Bijuu while they support Naruto, they can be given back to Naruto if Sasuke isn't careful and if that happens then Naruto has more Ninjutsu capabilities. What I am stating is that they have equal chance in winning this fight. Sasuke has the superior Genjutsu, Naruto has the superior Taijutsu while they are both fighting for "control" over the Bijuu which holds Ninjutsu. Sasuke will obviously lose in the end of the story, that much is certain. However as he has neither been confirmed for the movie or been confirmed that he will die. He may very well be in the movie, if that is the case then Sasuke may win this fight and lose if one more fight takes place in the movie.

Its highly likely, and he currently has the upper-hand. Naruto also won't kill Sasuke, ever.

Sasukes mastership means nothing as naruto has already fodderized a rennin master in a 5 v 1. Sauce cannot beat the hokages in a 5 v 1 madara wasnt able to do it either, at least without the advantages he gets from edo.

Had it not been for the Edo Tensei, then the Gokages would have died once Madara used Perfect Susano'o and if he was alive he wouldn't have wasted so much chakra testing out his new abilities. He was using the Gokages as testing dummies and they barely managed to survive his weakest attacks.

Sasuke has changed, greatly, unlike Naruto who remains the same. Sasuke no longer wants hatred or destruction, he wants peace and a better world. Naruto wishes to work on what they already have, Sasuke wants to start a new world. Of all the characters in the series, Sasuke has probably changed the most. (Obito being one of the few that beats him.)

Sasuke doesn't directly want to kill anyone, he wants to rid the world of those that stand in the way of his goal. Right now, that is the Gokages. (Sasuke has no plans of attacking the Hoakges are they are already dead.) If Naruto would stand idle by and wait for Sasuke to kill the Gokages, then he wouldn't even try to attack Naruto. But Naruto stands in his way, so he will have to at least beat him. (He never said eh wanted to kill Naruto.) This is the one thing that has remained with Sasuke's character. He only wants to kill those who stand in his way or are his direct targets. (Such as Danzo, Itachi and the Gokages.) Also, Madara was far more cruel than Sasuke will ever be.
