We know that there are a Rinnegan jutsu that requires a human sacrifice, the Rinne Tensei. What if undoing the Infinite Tsukuyomi requires a similar sacrifice? Its seems that those who awaken the Rinnegan and uses it gains knowledge of its abilities without having to read up on them. What if Sasuke starts a fight against Naruto because he is fully aware that if undoing it requires a sacrifice of some sort, then Naruto will take that upon himself. So he rather points all the hatred towards himself and aims to finish it himself. Dying in such a manner that resembles Lelouch in Code Geass. That is one possible reason, though it seems more possible that he gathered the Bijuu's so that he could kill Naruto straight out and continue with his plan without him. This gives Sasuke a major advantage in the upcoming battle as Naruto needs Sasuke alive, but Sasuke has no need for Naruto. This is also as good as confirmation that Sasuke won't die in this battle as any.

Sasuke won't achieve anything. Eliminating the kage and the bijuu and naruto won't change the ninja system, it will force it to find another means of doing exactly what they were doing before. Pretty sure even madara said this. Sasukes plan is dumb, especially at this time when for the first time in the history of ever, ninja have worked together for a common good and broken down centuries old barriers of hatred. Sasuke plans pretty much to become kaguya, even thiugh he litterally just saw how that ends.

Another motive might be wat kaguya has.... Sasuke killing naruto then putting kakashi and Sakura in IT.... All chakra back to tree.. Fruit ripes and he will eat it then he will rule the white zetsu... No more ninja , no more corrupted shinobi world
