Thats a bad analogy,They were sages/jins like Rikudo sennin Not like Kaguya,she already had horns nothing related got from fruit to be passed like that.Susanoo is different,It is manifestation of their chakra its structure would depend on users more than abilities though Sasukes susanoo is more dangerous coz of his other abilites it may not mean horns are related to it.

We are talking about Naruto. Visual appearance does mean a lot in this manga. Whatever if they were like Rikudou, they didn't achieve the two perfect horns of Rikudou either.

Sasuke got Ashura's chakra, too, since Hashirama gave some to him. Also, Sasuke got that special power from Rikudou that still unkown.

do they not look like wings? in most mythology tengu on which perfect susanoo is based are portrayed as half human and half animal, often having wings, thats why i think madara's susanoo should also be capable of gliding if not outright flying

Now some may say that those protrusions on the back of madara's susanoo arent enough to provide the lift for madara's susanoo

If that be the case madara can further modify them so as to get the job done, he has shown that he can change the change the shape of his chakra to make shapes as necessary for the moment
