Sasuke's parents named him Sasuke after Sasuke Sarutobi

Sasuke Sarutobi was Hiruzen's father. Sasuke's parents named Sasuke after him, so that he would become as great Shinobi as Sasuke?

How did they even know about someone older than Hiruzen from some other clan? And even things about Hokage were not very well known.

Also, if they knew, why did they not name him Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen or even Minato?

i guess sasuke sarutobi was a genius ninja....what i dont understand is why kishi introduced him into the manga but never showed him at all.

OT: Hokage have always been famous. Fugaku and Mikoto were easily old enough to have been alive when Sasuke Sarutobi was, and strong shinobi always make their mark on the world.

Just look at even Kakashi; Zabuza and Kisame recognised him straight away, despite no previous encounter. The latter went as far as to say he was honoured to be known by him.

I don't think Tobirama was hated among Uchiha. His tactics were not figured out, except by a few. Uchiha in general were proud Tobirama bestowed them the control of police force.

And they did prefer him as a Hokage over Madara, so I think Tobirama was quite popular and not hated.

Even if you think Tobirama hated them, that would not mean they would hate him. But he did not hate them, he was just careful so that another Madara would not appear.

Not really, its quite common these days especially if their friend is really close and their death really impacts them to the point of giving the child the same name?

Also does anyone currently have Hitler's name as of now because there was one case where a baby got Hitler's name but then the parents had to apply for a name change because Hitler's name triggers the Holocaust in people's minds.

You are mistaken. They were not forbidden from living in the village. They only lived in the outskirts because they had control over police force. The reason they lived together was because it is traditional for people from same clan to live together.

Tobirama never did anything forcibly to Uchiha, after Konoha was formed. He just used his diplomacy and political skills to make sure he could keep them under control. He never used force or direct laws to restrict their rights.

Basically, his approach was strategic and Uchiha themselves accepted it. When he offered them police force, they were glad. But unlike Tobirama, they did not understand the long term consequences.
