Okay so I'm a little thrown.

Can someone shed some light here. Why are people thinking that Sasuke will be able to control time?

Has there been something I missed which stated that he's going to be able to learn this?

Its just that Naruto is so fast that there is this theory that Sasuke will have power to slow time in real world.

maybe tobi taught him, would make sense since we know hes capable of doing it himself^^
and dont forget sharingan kinda makes him see things more clearly like their first fight in the valley of death, he had forseen all of narutos moves and countered them easily.

As much as I'm looking forward to sasuke defeating naruto I don't want him to have this power. If he gets it there is no realistic way for anyone to beat him. Oh look here comes a tailed beast bomb. But we know that genjutsus are infective against tailed beast hosts because there beasts can disturb there chakra which makes the genjutsu not work. So that couldn't work against Naruto surely.?

So the only real basis for this is because Naruto is so fast,the only way for Sasuke to keep up is to slow down time?!!! That's utter crap!!!!
By this logic I should be able to say that Itachi will get the same skills to keep up with Sasuke....
Rinnegan has no such skill and nor deos Sharingan. Simply because it allows the user to predict movement does not mean it has any link/relation to time control....meh
