This was something that always caught my attention when I thought about power-ups related to Sasuke. This is in context with EMS.
Itachi stated that the inextinguishable light was only half of the story. The other half was that he awakened a "completely new doujutsu". I don't believe we have ever seen Sasuke using a new doujutu in context with the EMS ever since he got it. There is an entity that has appeared in the Naruto manga a few times mostly when talking about the EMS, like in the page above^ but there is a shot of it here-
-standing aside of the buddha, the same one that Hashirama summoned in his sage mode. The reason I'm referencing it is because I thought maybe that the doujutu had something to do with that thing? posibly to summon it? It also seems to have the symbol on its forehead similar to Hagoromo's.
If it doesn't have anything to do with that "head-thing" I think it might be the ability to go back in time a few seconds. My reasoning is in this video, at around 3:30
Madara managed to go back in time to block the giant shuriken and prevent himself from losing his balance, and obviously Madara had the EMS at the time. I think it fits perfectly with Sasuke's teleporting ability in his Rinnegan. What do you think?
