I think Sasuke will have an NDE and meet Izuna Uchiha. It's the only way it'll make sense. Sasuke looks a lot like him and he reminds Hashirama of Izuna. I think it's fitting for Sasuke to meet Izuna, then be able to stop Madara without force, cause I know Naruto will try to use force on Madara for what he did to Obito.
