Sasukes name

We all know that sasuke uchiha got his name from hiruzen sarutobi's father sasuke sarutobi. My question to you is do you think sasukes mom and dad were trying to earn trust with Konoha or just being nice and naming him after a great shinobi. What are your thoughts towards sasuke getting his name from sasuke sarutobi considering the fact that sasuke wants to destroy the village it seems like he is trashing the sarutobi name.


Also I just thought of this what if sasuke is going to find a way to meet the man whom he got named after sasuke meeting sasuke that would be crazy if oro had it up his sleeve.

I think Sasukes parents just wanted to give their child a name of a great shinobi. Their reaction to itachis "betrayal" was quite nice and strengtghened him to fullfil his duty. I do not think they were so mean as other uchias

SO will add to this I believe they named sasuke this because his parents were trying to put the uchiha past the madara era.
What a shame for hiruzen to have his fathers name soiled like that though now that name is forever known as a rogue ninja name.
