Sasuke's MS (It's been awhile: Spoilers for NON-manga readers!)

I know I'm really late on this topic but all this talk about Naruto's eye's had me wondering about Sasuke's. (I know this happened awhile ago, and there probably have been other threads about this but I couldn't find any and it has been bothering me for awhile).

All of the MS sharingans we have seen are based around a pattern of the fully activated sharingan, by that I mean the three swirls or "commas" in both eyes. All of the MS sharingans go by this pattern of three except for Madara's "full" MS that has a six pattern design because he combined it with his brother's.

My question is why Sasuke's MS took on a six pattern shape? I originally thought he took Itachi's eyes but he never did that.... so why six, I can't figure out why Kishi did this. I can't even come up with a theory, I feel like he didn't know what shape to make it and made it a star but Kishi never does things like this for no reason. If anyone can shed any sort of light on this I would appreciate it.

It could symbolize somthing.

It probably has somthing to to with Japanese astrology legends or somthing, can not find anything on it though. The star could be like a badge and he is out to bring law and order back into the world haha i have no idea.

So Sasuke has all of Itachi's powers? Even Susanoo....? I thought Itachi gave Sasuke Ameratsu as a defense against Madara and the ability to activate MS by breaking their bond.

idk dude, that may be it...but i think it does say somewhere in the manga that Itachi "gave Sasuke his eye techniques", so i think its the same as the eye transplant...but w/o actually taking out and puttin in the eyes. Idk...but id bet Sasuke has the others, not just Amaterasu. Sasukes just more of a ninjutsu user, not genjutsu like Itachi, which is probably why we havn't seen him use Tsukuyomi (sp?).

Yeah makes sense, if Sasuke has all of Itachi's powers. He is an idiot then for not taking Itachi's eyes, might have taken them as well to not go blind.

Agreed the reason it has a six pattern shape is becasue he has itachi's powers, making it look like a full MS but not full casue he is still gonna go blind.

gud question, I was also pondering over this for sometime.
I can't give a correct answer, but all i can say is this
1)Though itachi gave sasuke his power(s), sasuke rejected itachi's MS.
So Only Jutsu(s) lending should not create such diffrence
2)There was once a theory on net regarding Sasuke a container for suzaku
(Phoenix). So may be Suzaku's powers created d diffrence. If u check my
threads, You will find dat theory(link is posted in its replies).
3)May be u r thinking 2 much, and kishi is not thinking dat much complexities,
with every minor details.

Good refresher question... Heres my answer, logically supported...

1. MS is obtained by A. Killing your best friend (Itachi) ... or... B. Making a huge emmotional sacrifice (Madara/Tobi). This is a mystery in itself, making any further theories very unsupportable, because we don't know the truth of how it activates...

2. Sasuke refused to obtain MS by himself, he trained using Sharringan, and pushed those abilities to its maximum. When fighting Itachi, Sasuke's middle pupil DIALATED to a much larger size... emphasizing how much he "leveled it up".

3. Sasuke's first use of MS was forcably done to him, by Itachi (Which goes against my point in #1!!!!) Basically, Itachi helped Sasuke cheat this crucial first step... In fact, the first MS form that he used, was Itachi's MS eye form... if that makes sense. SOOO Sasuke obtained his brother's eyes first...

4. The pain of learning the truth of Itachi's life, and death, is that pushed Sasuke's MS to a new level...

In the end, Sasuke defied the traditional way of obtaining MS, with his brother's help.

So to answer your question... the formation of the MS for each person, depends on what they use the sharringan for... genjutsu, taijutsu, ninjutsu... the 3 outer pupils most likely change in accordance to the individuals abilities...

For Sasuke.... he pushed his own sharringan to the max. As I said, middle pupil became very large... so maybe something to do with that...
