Okay this is a honest theory of Sasuke's personality and Guilt.
It seems to me that Sasuke puts up a charade for both Sakura and Sarada. Particularly when Sarada is around Sasuke constantly has ellipses when he goes and interacts with Sakura.
For Sarada though, I honestly BELIEVE that he truly loves her with every fiber of his body but due to all the emotional trauma he suffered he himself can't express it properly.
Firstly in Gaiden, Sasuke seemed to constantly overthink things when interacting with Sakura under the observance/presence of his daughter.
You can see here that he constantly has ellipses, something Kishi uses to showcase thought when Sasuke is replying/interacting/talking to Sakura under the presence of Sarada.
Common non Romantic situation are more easier for him as he is able to quickly takle down question without the normal hesitation.
Don't get me wrong I am not stating that Sasuke "HATES" Sakura or is repulsed by her currently, but rather multiple cases to explain the phenomenon could be presented.
Sasuke is seen some times in the Manga, particularly in part 1 to care for the overall well being of his team-mates.
.
He in some way or form cared for Sakura as well, likely not romantically but he knew how much she cared for him.
Throughout part 2 of Naruto, Sasuke began to become more aligned with his emotion for anger. From it his reserved self that he acquired after the massacre of his clan became more and more outspoken, specifically for his expression of REVENGE and HATRED.
This anger talking over and leaking out if his mouth, led to him usually to express his thoughts bluntly, especially with his closets friend Naruto.
Unlike with Sakura or Kakashi, Naruto was always at the forefront in trying to SAVE Sasuke to the point that Sasuke considered him his closets friend.
Naruto knew the truth about Sasuke more then anyone else in the village, (besides Danzou) and was overly close to Sasuke, even though to the masses they seemed to hate each other.
Sasuke knew the truth about Naruto, and Naruto knew the truth about Sasuke, the didn't even need to express their words but with a clash of Rasengan and Chidori they were able to enter a single mind state to which they could express themselves.
Now back to Sakura... Sasuke interacted less with Sakura then he did with Naruto. At first he likely assumed she was like the rest of the fangirls that swoon over him but eventually some form of companionship was formed.
Again I said that likely Sasuke didn't hate Sakura but to him he couldn't understand as to why she would chase after him compared to Naruto who suffered like Sasuke and understood him.
But then you would say he basically hated her right?
Not really, when comparing Gaiden to Sasuke's interaction with another female Karin in Part two you can see Sasuke himself express discomfort.
Sasuke is overly awkward, he doesn't know how to deal with situations that require social interaction, particularly with the opposite ***. People joked about this on numerous occasions but in reality Sasuke himself only expresses his emotions to people he is close too. When he is really close to them then he can physically interact with them which is easy with Naruto, Itachi, and even Sarada.
Sakura though is different...
Well for numerous reasons, some of which could be more true then others.
First Guilt.
Even though Sasuke wasn't in love with Sakura, Sasuke on numerous occasions tried to take out Sakura.
This wasn't actually out of hatred for Sakura but rather on most occasions was due to prioritizing his mission over his former team mates.
People usually hate on Sasuke for this but most of the time it was a kill or be killed scenario were he had no other choice.
These individuals are ninjas and are tried to kill from kindergarten. Plus on all these occasions, Sasuke was either going to be killed by Sakura herself or be abducted and sent back to Konoha were he likely would've been placed in a prison and monitored, preventing his revenge plot against Itachi.
Sasuke already tried to kill his closets friend, Naruto before these events so him not even flinching for Sakura is something to take note of. (It makes logical sense).
So after all these events, Sasuke himself wouldn't know how to deal with Sakura as an awkward wall would be between them. He felt that he had to repent for his sins so interacting with people he formerly attacked or killed would be hard for him, especially since unlike with Naruto he doesn't know what they are thinking or how to get through to them.
The Guilt can mean two things.
1) Sasuke himself doesn't believe he is sinless enough to interact with Sakura in such a way.
2) Sasuke himself doesn't know how to re-kindle his lost relationship due to the past haunting him.
This is a contrast to how he feels with Sarada as she came into this world after he declared his quest for rehabilitation.
Second Platonic Love.
This is the one that usually people wish to not talk about but we need to get through this to try and analyze Sasuke's mental state.
Like stated prior in this thread Sasuke himself didn't really hate Sakura but it is overly hard to try and go above and beyond with declaring that he loved her.
At least for Part 1 and Part 2, before the gap towards Chapter 700.
Why do I say this?
Well again Sasuke himself didn't really hate Sakura and was close in some sense to team 7 as a whole but his connection to Sakura might've been like a lost family relationship then love.
In these panels you see Sasuke's thoughts near the end of the series, particularly for Sakura. He continues to relate team 7 with his family and unlike the charade he pulled off when lying to Naruto, etc... over and over again these words feel genuine.
Sakura might've known this.
Unlike Naruto who can basically read Sasuke like a book and vice versa with Sasuke, Sakura herself was confused as to why Sasuke was bent on his twisted ideals/mission.
For Sasuke though it is quite puzzling, he doesn't know why she herself would go and do dangerous things just for his sake. With Naruto, Sasuke knew that Naruto was in a sense feeling the same emotions that Sasuke himself was feeling but for Sakura he didn't understand the connection at all.
He didn't know why she loved him or for what reason. Sasuke's innocence was destroyed during his clan's annihilation and so a boy with hatred and loneliness in his heart didn't leave any room for feelings such as romance and crushes.
Sakura, like Ino and Karin loved Sasuke at first because of his looks and so Sasuke not sharing a common goal with them felt distance and likely also disconnected with them as he (a orphan) likely was repulsed by selfish love and desires.
Sasuke also didn't hate Karin but again he tossed out anything that had a bond in order to claim his goal.
Okay so what basically connected Sasuke to Sakura then?
In the past it was most likely guilt, he tried to reconnect the broken fragments he made with his peers as best as he could but would also isolate himself form them as he didn't believe he could just shrug off his past.
This worked for everyone except Sakura... For Ino she left and moved on from the impossible after a significant amount of time in Shippuden.
Sakura couldn't though...
This would've been fine if Sakura and Sasuke had a platonic relationship, or at least for Sakura seeing as Sasuke likely did but Sakura continued to persist and have a new rekindled hope when Sasuke returned to the village.
Karin was still in love with him as well but we latter learnt that after the LAST, Sakura likely couldn't wait for Sasuke any longer, especially after seeing Naruto sealing the deal with Hinata.
We also know that after the Danzou fight, Karin herself saw first hand how Sakura felt
From the time after the LAST towards chapter 700, Sakura went off on her own to find Sasuke who was off on a mission to find himself.
We also learnt that Sasuke was still keeping tabs with TAKA even though a majority of his trips were by himself. Likely for info and also since they too did crimes and were more easier to relate too, without feeling guilty.
When Sakura eventually caught up with Sasuke she didn't leave his side which likely made Sasuke feel even more guilty that someones life was overly attached/or wanted to be attached to his a person that commited sins, especially to his follower (Sakura).
Sasuke by now likely knew that Sakura was forever going to romantically love him and that he would make her life worse if he never replayed that love.
The guilt as well was likely very hard on him as he knew of all the actions he commited towards her and how Naruto likely feels about the said matter.
Karin knowing this eventually gave up on Sasuke and allowed Sakura to have him on the hope that Sasuke wouldn't die from guilt and sorrow.
Then apparently the love stuff happened and Sarada was born.
This created a connection towards Sasuke and Sakura under the umbrella of Sarada. She was likely a bridge between the two and even though Sasuke might or might not love Sakura (or might be doing it as repentance) he likely generally loves his daughter and is happy to have her. Hence why we see him able to have her by his side throughout the Boruto movie. Sakura also knew this.
Maybe love will blossom between Sakura and Sasuke, who knows but from mating with Sakura as some repentance or duty, Sasuke got something more later on, a daughter that he himself feels as precious.
