[Theory] Sasuke's Mental Set and View on Peace

As we have seen in the latest chapter, Sasuke seems to have some kind of hidden agenda, this is my theory on Sasuke's agenda and what will lead to the Naruto vs Sasuke fight.

I believe that Sasuke genuinely wants to protect the village now BUT he never said anything about the other villages or countries.

I think that he is taking the Uchiha clan massacre and Itachi's example, as proof that the end justifies the means. As long as the village is protected and peace is achieved then whatever is done to achieve it is justified.

Basically Sasuke has no issue at all with something like destroying the other villages in order to secure the Hidden Leaf Village if it comes down to that.

Sasuke has always looked up to his older brother, and his brother killed his clan to prevent a world war, then Sasuke heard Hashirama's story, about how Hashi supposedly killed his best friend in order to protect the village. Then we have Tobirama's comment about its all about protecting the village.


I believe that his mind set is more like Danzo's now, with a bit of Nagato's ideals thrown in.

This is what will lead to the Naruto vs Sasuke fight, they will clash over the issue of how far one must go to achieve peace and protect the village, it will be kind of like the argument between Naruto and Nagato.

Better than saying Sasuke has dark intentions and leaving it at that.

Didn't he state he wanted to correct the past Hokage's wrongs? Meaning make the Leaf an actual place of equality and peace.

Wrongs:
- Hashi not putting Madara as Hokage
- Tobirama exiling the Uchiha (Whether his intentions were good this is what he did)
- Hiruzen dealing with the Uchiha coop/Not fixing what the 2nd did (Thanks Itachi!)
- Minato didn't really mess up anything.....

Sasuke is an avenger, he avenged his clan against his brother, wanted to avenge his brother against the leaf, now wants to avenge the leaf of it's past mistakes which would avenge both his brother and clan, along with the Hokage's mistakes.

I like it.
It'll be more like Naruto fighting Sasuke to protect the whole Shinobi world. And Sasuke fighting Naruto to protect only Konoha.
Not a bad reason for their epic battle.

He never actually said what he would do to accomplish that, and he hero worships his brother and that's where he is taking his example from.

What Sasuke views as correcting their past mistakes is not necessarily what anyone else would view as better.
