Plus it had an explanation on how to use it plus Sasuke/Itachi performed the requirements for it to be used.

Yes, it most certainly can as Kirin ITSELF is not not Ninjutsu, but Natural Lightening. I would love to see it again. Whether he uses it again or not is a different deal. We still haven't seen how Hidden Doujutsu EMS was supposed to unlock. Perhaps it also utilizes natural energy. It would definitely be interesting if this idiot remembers what he wrote way back when.

Senjutsu is natural energy plus chakra moulded together, but its the matural energy that makes it effective. Lightning is both natrual and made of energy. Therefore it is classified as natural energy . Its just being guided by someones chakra.

I think its real lightning & part of earth's precipitation . precipitation = nature. so I don't think Obito is immune to it.
Kakashi cut a lightning bolt in half with Raikiri.. Raikiri is chakra elemental lightning manipulation
and it cut a lightning bolt instead of absorbing it. It clashed with it. Chakra lightning is different than real lightning.
So it could still hurt Obito (or at least hit him without him absorbing it) I think. @_@

As you can see from fukasaku's explanation, Nature energy is the power of the planet. It is not simply naturally occuring objects like lightning or mountains. But rather the energy flowing through those things. kirin affecting Obito is like if someone throw sa rock at Obito but guides the rock using chakra strings.

Kirin itself is not a Jutsu, henceforth, it's automatically outside the logic of 'Ninjutsu will not work against Obito'. This should be blatantly obvious.

obito would not be as dumb as itatchi and let sasuke have the climate conditions for him to use kirin, it was an asspull, one time thing. get over it, if anything sasuke should use less raiton and more fire ninjutsu, that is where is skill lies. i would like to see some ameratsu technique, not more asspull stuff. its ninjutsu, its close but nevertheless ninjutsu, it will have no effect.
