I don't know if it is well documented or not about sasuke's ultimate attack, but from studying how clouds are formed and weather itself I know for a fact that kirin is not always a possible jutsu to even utilize, not only does sasuke need to launch fire into the atmosphere to prep the attack, but there has to be a cumulative synch from the weather in the area, for instance if sasuke fought over a desert, his attack would not work because of the lack of moisture cancelleing out any attempt, lack of moisture and what not, also if there isn't any updrafts which help create the clouds he would try to be forming he can't make the clouds, now I know naruto doesn't live on the entire realm of astro physics and what not but sometimes they will talk about how fast natural lightning is, but not how it is created which is more science than I thin.k kishi is willing to dig into, any I'm rambling kirin only works if current weather conditions are ideal and not by saskue heating up the damn atmospshere all the time

Naw not mad at sasuke or fanboys or kishi, but I just think the series is flawed with its science when it comes to basic things like clouds forming which we all learn in elementary school, its stupid because his most powerful attack is made by shooting random measurements of fire into the nearby atmosphere and then lightning, I think people bring up kirin too much where it can not be used in any battle, terrain and atmosphere take precedent

Kirin is natural lightening,kakashi already cut through natural lightnening with his rakiri,itachi already reacted,raikage reacted to point blank amaterasu,so he can react to kirin,some others as well,besides they can just kill him while he is forminfg it,there is a reason he has never used it again.
