Sasuke's Intentions?

I asked two memebers about what they though that Sasuke meant when he was speaking here (

). DemonicAvenger is a Naruto fan while KidGamer is a Sasuke fan, so we have two diffrent persepctives on the matter. What do you guys think about their theories on what Sasuke meant? and what are your own?

Well, first we see that Sasuke tells Obito that he will be the one who cuts the "past" away, not him. This was in response to Obito attacking Naruto trying to kill him. We also see a pic of Team 7 and then there is a gash going through Naruto in the picture.

I think this means that he wants to kill Naruto, I couldn't imagine why but that's what it seems like.

I think that when he says "It's not you" he's refering to Naruto. Then when he says "I will be the one to cut away the past" I believe hes saying that he's the one that will rectify the past and be the one that leads the world onto a path of peace. This would correlate with the Sage's sons perfectly. Naruto believes in peace through love and Sasuke believes in peace through power, and we know Kishi loves his parrales.

As a Naruto fan I would have to side with Kid Gamer. Not quite sure why though. It just feels like the right direction.

The same as they think, Sasuke wants to kill Naruto, either because of the 9 Tails or for some yet to be revealed reason.

Sasuke has become just like the Elder Son, he believes in peace through power and apparently his plan requires Naruto to go.
