Sasuke's Hokage claim.. A Reflection of Gaara? And what have we learned?

As we now have seen in chapter 631, Sasuke has come to terms with what he really wants to do without any or much outside influence. After hearing all the claims from hokages Sasuke wishes to change the village in his own way.

Personally I think Kishi has ruined much of sasuke's development by blindly having him pursue becoming hokage, however I'm hoping he doesn't pursue this notion long, and hopefully become the Otogakure's leader or kage (if they ever reach such political power) or maybe a completely new village

OT: Many people are saying that Sasuke becoming hokage is absurd; and looking at the crimes he's committed, him trying to become hokage is laughable to say the least,however people could have said the same about gaara in part 1.

Clearly Gaara was deranged, sadistic, and murderous however after the time skip of a few short years we see that Gaara has become not only the Kazekage but a polite and honorable ninja worthy of fighting with the other kages.

On top of the fact that Gaara was a crazy motha***** he also has the one tails which caused his entire village to hate and reject him. He killed people to make his existence profound as well as to verify that he was alive and alone in the world.

This is the exact type of change Sasuke is going through, and as we have seen in Gaara's case, it is not impossible.

PS: Compared to Gaara, Sasuke's crimes are child's play.

That's a really stupid idea you just created, he said the kages wanted him to be hokage. And he clearly filled Itachi's words to Naruto perfectly and Naruto is a bit jealous.

To be fair, Gaara didn't commit treason or join the Akatsuki. He also didn't kill a interim Kage.

But Sasuke's comment that he doesn't care what others think actually makes it clear he won't become Hokage, because as Itachi noted its the ones who are acknowledged that become Hokage not vice versa.

It does make sense, I suppose. Gaara had the entire village hating him and those in charge trying to kill him..

Sasuke had something similar, but after he decided to leave the village.

I completely agree with you. I feel he killed two birds with one stone. got everyone who wanted sasuke to turn back to the good side covered. and still didnt compromise the fight between naruto and sasuke
