I'm a new member, and this is my first post so please be nice. I am open to constructive criticism though 
So I've been wondering if Sasuke will ever redeem himself and become good again. I've come up with a few different possible scenarios:
1) many people will die on the side of the Allied Shinobi Forces (including many important characters).
At some point Sasuke will awaken the Rinnegan.
He plans to use the Rinne Tensei to revive the Uchiha clan but something (most likely Naruto), changes his mind and he decides to revive all the people who have died because of the war instead. Because of this, everyone sees him as a hero and they no longer think of him as a criminal.
2) Itachi made it his goal to "die by Sasuke's hand". Because of certain events, Sasuke will decide that he has to "die by Naruto's hand". Before Sasuke dies, he will have a meaningful "talk" with Naruto and they will finally become friends. He'll ask Naruto not to tell any on about this so Naruto is known as the hero who killed the criminal Sasuke. This will make everyone respect Naruto even more than they do now and he will finally become Hokage.
3) Sasuke decides that he wants to fight Madara. He will reluctantly team up with Naruto so they can defeat him. During the fight, Sasuke will have some kind of revelation and protect Naruto (like when they fought Haku). They will win the fight but Sasuke will either die protecting Naruto or he will sacrifice himself so Naruto can defeat Madara. Everyone will see what happened and they will have respect for Sasuke and no longer think of him as a criminal.
Well, these are my theories/predictions. They aren't perfect as I was trying to summarize them. Also, I'm not sure if anyone has come up with these before me but I've been thinking about these for awhile now and I'm sorry if they are similar to anyone else's ideas.
I don't think that Sasuke will be alive at the end of the series. Even if he does redeem himself and comes back to Konoha it would just be awkward wouldn't it? I mean, he was trying to destroy it earlier. And i don't think he will become a rogue ninja either. What will his purpose in life be? So far he's only had two, kill Itachi and destroy Konoha. What would his purpose be if he becomes good?
I personally think it would be a good ending if he was the last of his cursed clan to die. His death will bring a close to the Uchiha clan (if Obito is killed and Madara is sealed before hand).
Oh, one last thing. I think that he will die with a smile on his face just like Itachi. He will be happy with his final act (what ever it may be), and the end of his pathetic clan/the curse of hatred.
