[Spoilers] Sasukes eye theory

So this is more for those who are a bit confused like I was until just a second ago. Many people have said that Sasuke uses the creation from nothing power of Hago. And Naruto uses the create life thing. This seems to be true but where did he use it?

Well obviously Naruto on guy. But i think what is less obvious is where Sasuke used his power, or rather what exactly happened.

Here we see that Sasuke didn't simply dodge this jutsu. It would seem that he used Izanagi as some have guessed. And in a sense that is true, but it is also more. He didn't get hit and reform, instead he "created" himself over there. And obviously Sasuke is alive and his power isn't to create life, but he is already alive, he just shifted himself not created a new life of himself.

But now sasuke is clear on the other side where the sword was, note the tree roots. Now how did that happen. Clearly he didn't run because it wasn't shown and Naruto was surprised that Sasuke was coming from there. The shifting theory makes more sense now as well. I also think he shifted the sword into Madara as there doesn't seem to be an indication that it was thrown. I think Madara is fast enough to block a thrown sword, at that range, no matter the speed of it. Maybe he has to be touching the things he manipulates hence why he needed to get over there.

Note the Izanagi like characteristic of losing the tomoe. It seems he is limited to 2 or 3 uses before a recharge.

Madara indicates that here is a range to it. Which I think means that he can only shift things a certain distance.

In conclusion, Sasuke is using "izanagi" but not in anyway we have seen before. he isn't limited to erasing damage, but now he has true izanagi, where he can manipulate reality to a degree. He shifts himself and objects to a certain range at the price of his eyes tomoe. he has limited uses but they can regenerate after a fixed time. This may have seemed obvious to you, but I for one was really confused about the sword, and I think this explains it. it also might explain Sasuke catching up Madara almost instantly even though madara had a decent lead on him.

Basically I am just connecting dots from hat people think Sasukes power is and its potential uses.

Great thread! The only thing I don't agree on is the sword piercing madara. I think that was the results of limbo Madara being pierced and the damage returning to the original. Sasuke explained that when Limbo madara blocked Naruto's attack with his arm it later returned the damage to madara.

I like the theory. I think your right, but I wanted to know where do you get the part where you said that after 2 or 3 uses the tomoe would reform??? I would think those tomoe are now gone forever? Just like losing your sharingan eye after using Izanagi.

Maybe but Limbo returned to Madara after Regular Madara was pierced. Also where did Sasuke say that narutos damage to limbo Madara went back to the real one. i reread it like 3 times but I only saw the shadow returning, not the damage.

It would seem to me that Sasuke has 3 or four sets of tomoe. He has also seemingly used this abilty 4 times.
1. On the lightning.
2. To get to the sword.
3. To Get the sword to Madara.
4. To catch up to Madara.
It is just a guess because I would think if he could only use it 3 or 4 times than he wouldn't have used them so quickly. Also If he has used it at least 3 times (maybe 4) then he shouldn't Have been able to use it anymore.

On the middle pannel with Sasuke. The way I read it is that when limbo Madara blocked the attack it got damaged by senjutsu and then when it returned to Madara the damage was applied on his arm (2nd middle pannel). However, that is just my interpretation and what I understood from reading it.

Perhaps, but remeber that the white Madara is the limbo one when everything goes black and white. It was on the limbo one when Naruto hit limbo Madara. I think he is commenting on the fact that Limbo can be hurt.

I think you are right , Sasuke can manipulate a little space and time.

The statue behind Sasuke is holding a trishul in its right hand mixed with a paintbrush (Yata mirror on his chest).
Sasuke's manipulation of space and time was foreshadowed by that trishul+paintbrush.

Trishul(Shiva's trident) :the 3 primary gunas , creation/maintenance/destruction , past/present/future.
Shiva has a damaru that allows him to "manipulate" the rythm of the gunas.

The paintbrush is representing the ability to "draw" your own reality , Sasuke's ability to manipulate space and time.

My best guess is the shift like izanagi but without being hit.

Ah I see where I might have gone wrong now, I was looking at the white madara as the real one and the black as the limbo. Thanks for the clarification!
