Hey, just wondering if the manga ever showed Sasuke's Mangekyo Sharingan ability? i know he got the Amaterasu from Itachi, or was he able to do it as well (being brothers and all) My buddies and I got into a discussion about his eyes before they got transplanted with Itachi's and it kept coming down to nobody could remember. There was the instance when Sasuke was fighting Danzo and he used a genjutsu on him to make him think he still had another open sharingan eye on his arm (which he didn't) Not sure if that was mangekyo or just a simple genjutsu perfectly placed in their battle. If i remember correctly Sasuke's mangekyo awakened after his fight with Itachi.
He used the same genjutsu on Bee, here is what the 3rd databook says about it:

One of the "Hypnotic Eye" genjutsu that a "Sharingan" user can do. The person trapped in the world the user creates gets tortured by having wedges inserted through their body while not being able to move. It is mainly used for torturing as it is highly effective in producing results because the person really feels like they are getting hurt from the beatings.
I cant even recall which chapters it was in, just one of those things thats been bugging me. I'm up to date with the manga, and if people want to be rude cause it makes them feel better, then by all means, let them.

It wasn't specified that it was a regular Sharingan genjutsu or Tsukuyomi, but it is assumed that he has it, as you need both Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu to activate Susanoo.

Sasuke ms ability to me has yet to b seen he was givin amatersau by itachi which tobi explained to him after he fought itach.
He has to have tysukomi because the only way to unlock susanoo is to have both amatersau and tysukomi which is explained by itachi during his and sasukes fight and narutopedia.
Danzo also made it clear he has tysukomi wen sasuke placed him under genjustu he said sumthing along the lines of good job for putting me n a genjustu but yours is a far cry from itachi and he also did it on killer bee.
But this is just a theory of mine but i think sasukes ms power is just the ability to boost his already attained powers sumthin like ichigo's mugetsu form on bleach none the less i cant wait to see him use his full susanoo i feel sorry for whoever he uses it on
Sasuke first received the Mangekyou Sharingan after hearing the truth about Itachi from Tobi. Which was after Itachi's death. After awakening the Mangekyou Sharingan he constantly used it in battle, and in his very first battle against Killer Bee he shown that he was able to use the Genjutsu ability of the Mangekyou Sharingan, but it seemed to be weaker than Itachi's. Later in the same battle he used Amaterasu for the first time, showing great control over the black flames and was able to distinguish the flames with rather little problems, where on the other hand Itachi had great problems in doing that. From that point Sasuke shown great ability in the Amaterasu and little ability in the Genjutsu counter part, he is able to use the Blaze Element which more or less is the element on Amaterasu. He is able to control the flames much better than any user of the black flames. He is able to form it too, to any shape he wants.
Sasuke have also been seen to use some sorts of Genjutsu from his eyes, which he used against Killer Bee, in the fight against the kages and in his fight with Danzo. Even though all of these was strong Genjutsu from the Mangekyou Sharingan ( most likely ) they were no were as strong as Itachi's. He is also able to use the Sussanoo like Itachi, but his is a bit different in the form and weapons. After the fight with Danzo and meeting with Naruto he implanted Itachi's eyes and received the Enternal Mangekyou Sharingan ( EMS ).
Upon getting the EMS he has shown even greater control over the Amaterasu, which is really powerful now. But his Genjutsu seems to be the same, and in the fight Itachi & Sasuke VS Kabuto ( Sage ) he used his genjutsu again. But this time it was referred too as Genjutsu Sharingan while Itachi's was called Tsukuyomi. Which might mean that Sasuke can use the Genjutsu of the EMS and MS only that its so much weaker than Tsukuyomi that it is not even looked at as the same jutsu.
