Sasuke's Enton

Could Sasuke use his Enton ability of his Mangekyou Sharingan, which controls the shape of his Amaterasu, to control regular fire from a distance?

Usually in the show, fire is molded in the body then expelled while it maintains its shape, but could Sasuke theoretically spit out a Grand Fireball jutsu then use his Enton to shape it into five mini fireballs mid flight or something like that?

Basically, I was wondering what would happen if a mangekyou sharingan user got the Enton ability in one eye, but not Amaterasu in the other.

It's called flame control so usually it would be safe to assume but, I'm not entirely sure if it's restricted to amatersu or not. My guess is yes.

He doesn't need MS to do so, he can manipulate fire just as good as lightning if he wants. Enton is special because he's manipulating a fire that's not created with nature affinity.

Enton is doujutsu. regular katon is not connected to it so i dont think so but he can shape his katon regardless

Basically, I was wondering what would happen if a mangekyou sharingan user got the Enton ability in one eye, but not Amaterasu in the other.

then that user would only be able to create the flames and shape it, use it as thrown projectiles but wont be able to spawn the flames directly on the target in his line of of sightsince amaterasu is the spawning of the enton flames on the target.

Read the manga, you don't need dojutsu for element manipulation.

No, he'd still be able to cast Amaterasu. If you meant the other way around, then yes, since his right eye cannot use the technique.

No, he uses Amaterasu with the left and Blaze Style with the right.

The point of his right eye is to use Blaze Style (which his left cannot do). Amaterasu is a technique that merely spawns a volume of fire at a singular point of eyesight. With Blaze Style he can extinguish and shape the spawned fire into an infinite amount of forms.

He cannot cast Amaterasu with his right eye.
