Sasuke's EMS?

If i remember right, in one episode, it stated that to gain Eternal Mangekyo, you must

• Kill your best friend
• Kill your sibling

But, Sasuke has EMS, but has only killed Itachi, fulfilling one requirement. One person wrote, that since Itachi gave him his powers, it awoken the MS, and when Sasuke transplanted his eyes, it gave him EMS.


So, is a killing your best friend really a requirement, or just an incentive from Itachi, because he knew Sasuke couldn't kill Naruto (his best friend), and thus never gain MS?

But if Sasuke somehow kills Naruto, does he get a new EMS?


So to summarize:
1. Kill a friend, kill a sibling = EMS
2. take siblings powers, take his eyes, also = EMS
3. Take sib's powers, take his eyes, kill friend = UEMS? (Ultra)

or is it just number 2?

You have to kill someone close to you and then take the persons eyes to get ems, but that persons eye has to be a clansman eye

I don't think you are caught up with the manga so here are the steps on how ot gain the EMS

1. Gain the MS by killing your best friend or sibling
2. if you start to go blind take your brother or sister or clansmen eyes
3. Wait for a little bit and the EMS will form taking the shape of yours and the other persons eyes Mixed.

yeah it's either or not both : plus when kakashi felt the loss of a close friend (probably obito, rin or minato) that's when he unlocked it (he never got ems though) Theory:shisui is obitio's younger brother and their grandad/ dad is kagami so he could have the ems but itachi destroyed the last eye :shrug:

if u take the eye of a sibling or friend uchiha who has the MS u get EMS and if u have senju cells u awaken the rinnegan through great pain i think

To Summarize:
1. To unlock MS one must feel the emotions of losing someone important to you, Like killing a friend or a sibling. Sasuke didn't kill Itachi. Itachi literally died at the last minute, due to being weak from his illness and weakened by Sasuke in the fight.

2. To unlock EMS you have to transplant another pair of MS to their MS. Though if you use your own Siblings/Family eye there more of a chance it'll be compatible with the user.

3. No one knows, We only know Rinnegan is the next level past the EMS.
