Remember Itachi's remarks about not trying to do everything yourself no matter how powerful you get, and then the Sage spoke about how dangerous it is to give one person too much power because it leads to arrogance.

Sasuke is showing all the signs of the arrogance that both of them spoke of, Madara also recognized Hashriama but he still became corrupted by power.

And in a Shounen manga, that just screams that this won't go well for Sasuke, one thing that happens a great deal is that when a character acts like this in a manga about the power of friendship, its inevitable that he will be fed humble pie.

At some point yes, Sasuke will realize what he's doing. Naruto will more than likely make him realize that. But recall how Sasuke was before. Don't you think he's been making progress by accepting that he needs Naruto by his side to help him in this battle? Sure it was rude to do what he did but he's not trying to waste time with all the details either.

It does not matter whether he's good or bad. If he's going to lead, he has to divulge information that pertains to the situation. He opted not to do that because "they can't do anything anyway".

People are missing the point. I know that Sasuke was being realistic and all, but you guys are forgetting that this is a shounen manga targeted for kids. Sasuke basically telling his comrades and friends to shut up and that they're useless is basically telling us that Sasuke isn't going anywhere with his current attitude and personality. he needs an intervention and that intervention is Naruto. He will defeat Sasuke and Drill the friendship and teamwork BS to his brain so he can finally change and return to the village.

This was a foreshadow.
