This is a shounen manga. Generally, when a character talks shit to his teammates and friends, he's not going to get anywhere.

Also this stories whole theme is the power of friendship and team work, so that right their tells you this isn't going to go well for Sasuke if he acts like this.

Remember Itachi's remarks about not trying to do everything yourself no matter how powerful you get, and then the Sage spoke about how dangerous it is to give one person too much power because it leads to arrogance.

Sasuke is showing all the signs of the arrogance that both of them spoke of, Madara also recognized Hashriama but he still became corrupted by power.

And in a Shounen manga, that just screams that this won't go well for Sasuke, one thing that happens a great deal is that when a character acts like this in a manga about the power of friendship, its inevitable that he will be fed humble pie.

re-read the manga please. You obviously have no idea what your talking about. This chapter was ample proof that Sasuke's downfall will be because of his arrogance. It's also a fact that Naruto, the shounen tittle character of the show will beat his plot devise rival in the end to prove to him that Friendship and love > hatred and power. If you don't believe me, you'l surly be disappointed in the end.
