If you guys want to know where sasuke got his idea of hokage, just reread chapter 462, sasuke's dogma. Kishimoto literally just took that chapter and used it as a template to come up with sasuke's revolution. Sasuke's whole revolution was based on the chapters from itachi's death to this chapter.
Sasuke has always opposed Itachi's will, which is evident in the photo below. I guess anyone who was paying close attention could see how Sasuke got his resolve.
But then you read chapter 463 and see exactly why his plan would fail. Naruto said that pein and obito were different because obito didn't want peace, pein did. That is how naruto was able to sway pein. Well, doesn't Sasuke want peace too?
And thus, Sasuke's goal is shot to hell before it they even started to fight.
