Hello people.
If you have not read the latests chapter then prepare to be spoiled
As you may have noticed in this last chapter sasuke summoned a snake this chapter. To those of us who pay attention it is a bit confuseing as sasuke went from snakes to hawk and then again randomly back to snakes?
There are only 3 explainations i can think of to describe what may be happening
1. Sasuke is able to summon any species he signs a contract with(meaning he can summon as many creatures as he has contracts with. (unlikely)
2. Sasuke switched back to snakes at some time before/during the war.
3. My theory . Sasuke(or any ninja) can summon one species per hand.(Meaning snakes on his right and hawk on his left.
There is no definate proof that my theory is correct, as the manga pages for sasuke summoning the hawk shows little.
Here sasuke is attacked and jumps off the cliff, and begins summoning jutsu
ONLY to then skip the handseals, and which hand was placed. So i cannot confirm that the summoning is based by hand used, as there is little information going with this.
But here jiraya explains to naruto about summoning jutsu. In this page he says you can summon various life forms with a blood contract. What that means could mean EITHER species, or more likely summon individuals in a single species.
He then goes and says how to make a contract. You sign the contract scroll in blood, and mark it with your finger prints, and then when you want to summon, YOU USE THE HAND YOU SIGNED WITH.
So in conclusion, it seems very plausible that sasuke signed his contract with hawks with his left hand, and snakes with right(as he used his right hand to summon this new snake)
It fits the storyline, so sasuke didnt randomly go and change back to snakes either while traveling with oro, or while recovering from his surgery.
But if this theory is incorrect, then the next most likely thing, is sasuke had oro summon the scroll, and resigned his contract to snakes while in route to the war.
