Hi Base Members,
I have a hunch that Kishimoto has been putting Sasuke aside, because he will get an awesome comeback. Sasuke can definitely play a role in the Madara and Obito conspiracy that it might be bring total chaos to the ninja world. My suspicion is that Sasuke won't turn on the good side and show the signs because that way he will deceive Madara later on.
I heard from members saying that Sasuke could possibly get training and a possible power-up in order to get Perfect Susanoo i won't disregard it, because Sasuke might be valuable that can definitely benefit Madara. I feel that Madara might take a liking to Sasuke only because he will listen to him, unlike the others. Sasuke also has a lot of Madara's characteristics it should be apparent to all of you by now. Sasuke is neutral at this point ever since Itachi's second departure.
Also, Sasuke can equate Itachi's deception abilities very well. He has deceived many people that got in his way. Sure, people could tell me but Madara is a badass, this, and that. At the end of the day, Naruto and the Alliance will be victorious against Madara. The person that will play a significant role in the Alliance's victory is Sasuke. Kishi can take Sasuke's path in any direction. I mean he can make Sasuke the final antagonist though that wouldn't fit him that well.
Sasuke's Comeback:
There are many ways that Sasuke can make a comeback! Let's be honest it's not easy to read Sasuke's intentions like other characters. He is a rare case, because the guy does unexpected things that throw you in a loop.

Sasuke will meet with the mysterious figure or figures that will make him understand his path. Sasuke departs from Taka to handle the rest of the situation on his own. Madara and Obito are about to finish off the Alliance with a TBB. Sasuke comes from behind and intercepts Obito. Sasuke is perplexed to realize that Tobi is from the Uchiha Clan. The Juubi is out of control since it was implied that both of them needed to work together. Madara realized that Sasuke has ruined their plans to a temporary halt, but he is joyous at the fact that Obito was taken down. Obito is still alive, but injured by Sasuke's Chidori. Naruto is tired to the verge of death, but Madara tries to take the opportunity to kill him via a frontal attack. Obito goes to save Naruto just the same way Neji did, but frontwards! Obito is fatally injured by his attack. Naruto attacks Madara with one last attack, but alas Madara only gets pushed near reaching Sasuke's area of standing. Sasuke bribes Madara in making a temporary Alliance in return by helping him reach a great form of power. Madara agrees to train Sasuke's EMS so that he can prepare him to fight Naruto. Madara is sort of elated to train Sasuke, because he wants Sasuke to defeat the Younger Son. Madara sees himself in Sasuke that makes him start growing feelings of acceptance since he was rejected by others. Madara helps Sasuke reach the next level of power. Sasuke leaves in order to have a final battle with Naruto, but in the meantime Madara finds someone to help him with the Rinne Tensei. Orochimaru, Kabuto, or even Yamato could be his pawns to use the Rinnegan to active Rinne Tensei which will make Madara whole again. Naruto and Sasuke will have their final battle, but Sasuke loses at the last attack. Due to Sasuke's defeat at the hands of Naruto. Sasuke throws a scroll to Naruto giving him something that can help against the Juubi. I believe it's a seal that will help Naruto against the Juubi or a secret that can make him even the host, but that's just a small assumption. Why do you think Taka mentioned about them being able to control the outcome of the war? Madara will most likely have 50% percent of the incomplete Juubi's power with his own sharingan abilities from his clan. Naruto alone won't be able to handle Madara, so Sasuke will lend a hand at the end. Sasuke helps Naruto defeat Madara without both of them dying. Madara has a moment to look in his past about possibly failing the Uchihas for his own selfish goals. Madara tells Sasuke to not only heighten the glory of the Uchiha, but be the rebirth of the clan itself by removing the concept of hatred.

Sasuke enters the battlefield on Naruto's side. The battle begins on both sides against Madara and Obito. Sasuke might give Naruto a supplement or something to restore his chakra levels to fend off against Madara and Obito. Obito starts to question Sasuke's reasoning of joining the Alliance when he could be joining the winning side. Sasuke quickly interrogates Obito by replying that it was his own choice to join the Alliance. Also, Sasuke retaliates by saying that he wouldn't join traitors from the Uchiha Clan. Sasuke then points at Madara by saying that he will get rid of the source of the Uchiha's anguish. Madara replies that he is surprised of seeing a living Uchiha in front of his own eyes. Obito replies to Sasuke that it's too late to stop them, because the Juubi is on their side. Sasuke smirks at Obito's response by telling him that Naruto will definitely defeat him. Madara and Sasuke spar with their own Susanoo's, while Naruto takes on Obito. Madara has Sasuke in the ropes, but Naruto helps Sasuke by protecting him from Perfect Susanoo's slash. Sasuke in return helps Naruto by distracting the Juubi to seal on time. Naruto is successful in defeating the Juubi. Sasuke gets a fatal attack by Madara, but Madara is close enough that Sasuke puts a temporary bind on him making the rest of the Alliance able to seal him once and for all. Team 7 have a reunion with both Naruto and Sakura crying because of how injured Madara left Sasuke. Sasuke shares his final moments with Team 7 telling them his apologies for abandoning them from the start. Sasuke shares the fact why he couldn't face his problems with them, because he didn't want to put anyone in jeopardy, but he also felt that hatred morphed him into a complete different person that made rash decisions. Sasuke especially acknowledges Naruto for the first time in the story and he was glad for having him as a friend. Sasuke slowly closes his eyes making Naruto and Sakura tremble in despair. Naruto shouts Sasuke's name with tears on his eyes-- Sakura also cries over Sasuke's dead corpse. Kakashi looks at Sasuke with sadness saying his mind that despite the obstacles Sasuke had to push himself through. He didn't stop caring his friends and he even sees that Sasuke didn't enjoy his decisions on revenge. Naruto is made Hokage and has his own celebration. Sakura becomes a medical genius like Tsunade herself. Kakashi has a new love on the horizon and he finally has his own child. Naruto and Hinata are currently engaged. At the end you see Naruto visiting the stone with the carved names on the training field of the deceased ninja who gave up their lives in the war, but he made an exclusive statue of both Sasuke and Itachi to never forget them.

Naruto and Sasuke face off against Madara to finally win the war. At the end, Sasuke sees Naruto about to die first, so he suffers a traumatic moment that unlocks the Rinnegan. He tries to use his seventh path to revive Naruto, but the latter tells him that he should use that power on the deceased instead of him. Sasuke questions Naruto for not accepting his offer; and Naruto reminds him that he will die along with his friend. He also mentions that Sasuke won't bear the pain this time alone. Sasuke smiles at the fact that Naruto never gave up on him, so he uses the Rinnegan to revive all the Kages, K11, and Shinobi Alliance (if most die anyways). Naruto and Sasuke are seen looking face up and having their fingers intertwine the same way in the flashbacks of their childhood. Everyone celebrates on the defeat of the Juubi and Madara, but everything comes to silence when everyone realizes that both Naruto and Sasuke have died in the process. The Kages make their final speech about winning the war and sharing their thoughts on both Naruto and Sasuke's sacrifices. Hinata, Sakura, K11, Kages, and everyone else suffer sadden moments because of the death of both these characters, but more so Naruto than Sasuke. In honor of the sacrifices, Tsunade and the rest of the separate Kages work together in the Final Valley to make a statue of both Naruto and Sasuke looking towards each other with intertwine fingers. I also believe they make a gallery of the valley with other small statues around Naruto and Sasuke's. Konohamaru becomes the next Hokage recognizing the fact that if it wasn't for Naruto. He would of never been Hokage without his support. Konohamaru has students that he teaches and all of them ask him who was the greatest ninja? Konohamaru answers Naruto in the end. Konohamaru gazes at the Hokage Face's to see Naruto's besides him.
