Don't know if a threads been made on this particular subject yet so here we go.

I was reading a certain thread about sasuke's sharingan type mentioned by madara, and someone on the thread said the English translation was "spiraling swirl" and that caught my eye.

Madara seems not surprised but still interested in sausuke's eyes, he also stated he could use sasuke's eyes before he got his own back. So my theory is: what if sasuke actually had the type of sharingan that without the help of tsenju DNA it could undergo transformation and become NOT the sharingan, but the eye of the uchiha ancestor which looked like a "spiraling swirl."

I hope Kishi will explain the different sharingan types. Maybe Madaras Sharingan is a choku aswell that why he's interested in Sasukes eyes.

I think the Elder's eye is only truly unlockable by undergoing redemption.
