Before you read: I want to say this is my honest opinion, I am not butt hurt and am not trying to in anyway defend Sasuke. I am merely expressing my opinions on this subject so please for a second look at it logically.
Fire is > wind

wind> lightning

Fire and lightning > wind.

As you see here, just Chidori and Rasengan clash, yet they both come out equal. In the first one, Sasuke was going blind and barely had any chakra from fighting Raikage,Samura, Kages and Danzo. Yet they still managed to balance out.

Here it is Chidori vs Rasengan on a bigger and stronger level, yet they bot equal out ONCE again.

Sasuke enhances the chidori with fire (which remember is wind's weakness) and has the height/gravity advantage,
yet with a basic Rasengan equalizes it.

How can Normal Chidori = rasengan

but Blaze release Chidori = rasengan too

When it is obvious, if Chidori/Raikiri was to clash Blaze release Chidori, it would loose.

Maybe the chakra was more potent in Naruto's? Also, the problem with NB is they apply logic (albeit Kishi's logic) to fights where the outcome is supposed to be for a reason, and also completely disregard portrayal of strength by just focusing on stats and jutsu. All it means is that Kishi does not always take his own logic into consideration for fights. Portrayal is the same reason why Madara and Hashirama > Itachi, regardless of his arsenal.

its a common misconception that people have with naruto rasengan. Naruto didn't use your average rasengan. His rasengan is technically kyubbi infused rasengan vs blaze relase + lightning style: enton chidori.

Because rasengan is a mass of chakra. There is no wind infused... :/

Rasengan isn't Futon, Enton had no meaning in this clash at all, it was a retarded waste of chakra since it doesn't enhance penetrative power in the way it was manifested. It simply added to the energy explosion which made their hands go off, other than that it had no take in the Chidori vs Rasengan clash.

Lol, fan service? How about we let Sasuke win and continue with his revolution and save the world? If you think that would make for a good story, I feel bad for you. Plot is everything, including the reason why Sasuke was created.

That's true man, I understand your confusion but I don't think Enton made a difference since Rasengan has no element, only Rasenshuriken is wind element

It's because this rasengan was full with kurama's chakra combined with his own, as well as the fact that sasuke's eye abilities were giving out, all of that had an effect to this turn of events.

Well, you also have to remember that wind amplifies fire. When the 2 attacks made contact, their arms were basically erased.

Thank you. I've been wondering the same thing. However, it may be because of the way the chakra is spun in the rasengan, that it's just a match for both.

If Naruto had used a Rasenshuriken, it would have just strengthened Sasuke's blaze release chidori, and in the end would have just damaged Naruto more.

It was not a wind style rasengan. The rasengan by itself has no chakra nature. It could have possibly been infused with sage chakra, but that's a stretch. The logic you are trying to use is what makes the clash make no sense. It is true that regular chidori = regular rasengan, but that is not what happened here. It was an Amaterasu-Chidori vs A kyuubi-enhanced super rasengan. We don't know what properties the Amaterasu added to the chidori, so we can't exactly judge the "probabilty" of the outcome happening the way it did.

Ignore my post, I didn't read all the way through. I was simply wondering why a normal rasengan outmatched Sasuke's blaze release chidori.

The previous Rasegan vs Chidori encounters weren't Wind Style Rasengans, just compressed chakra. If they were Wind Style Rasengans then Naruto would have won in all those clashes since naturally Wind is Lightning's weakness.
