Sasuke's Chidori/Lightning Blade Variations But Not Naruto's Rasengan Variations?

i KNOW it's a much more complicated jutsu the TBB but the rasengan was a perf base for this jutsu. Yea true i guess he does have several jutsu is just the ones that are repeatedly used are rasengan and clones....and most of naruto's upgrades are just rawr power or speed..not so much expanded techniques...naruto has gone through two modes already

I agree. As Kakashi noticed that Naruto being not very intelligent; learns from physical work-out quickly instead of theoretical form. Thus Kishi has given him most power-ups in simple forms inteatd of complex jutsus which needs raw power and/or speed combo.

 

[Q of the Sharingan]

I have seen throughout the base that people tend to complain about the constant overuse of the same old boring rasengan. I like the technique but i do prefer for naruto to simply learn new techniques that are not rasengan but nonetheless I like rasengan. People may complain about Naruto's Rasengan variations but same technique but don't mind Sasuke's variations of his lightling blade/chidori.

Why is that? is it because Sasuke's variations are actually different looking or what not compared to Naruto's Rasengan in which its appearance barely changes? Although, recently Sasuke has only been using Susano and Amaterasu.

Chidori variations could be considered separate jutsu if Sasuke didn't use chidori as a base and didn't name them as such.

Chidori - lightning chakra on hand to make it a blade

Chidori spear - extended lightning chakra, this is the only one I consider a pure variation of chidori like Naruto's rasengan variants.

Chidori senbon - senbon made from lightning chakra, kind of like chidori spear except thrown and many smaller "blades" this can be seen as a separate jutsu without chidori in its name.

Chidori stream - stream of lightning chakra, can be seen as just that and doesn't have anything in common with chidori other than name

Chidori blade - sharpening of other blades with lighting chakra, it is the same as Bee's super vibrato sword except it used chidori as a base and has chidori in the name

All of Naruto's rasengan variants always have the normal ransengan in them, just modified slightly

Rasengan - spinning mass of pure chakra that grinds and explodes sending the opponent away in a whirling manner

Giant Rasengan - just a bigger rasengan

Big ball rasengan - a much larger rasengan

Planetary rasengan - 4 separate rasengans that spin in alternating directions to disrupt the rotation of the opponent being sent away, just more rasengan into one

rasengan barrage - a lot of clones using rasengan

Rasenshuriken - rasengan with wind chakra that attack opponent with microscopic blades of wind once hit, this one is the most different and even having a different mode of damage

As you can see, Naruto's rasengan variants are just slightly modified rasengan while Sasuke's chidori variants are much different from the original.

I still like Naruto's rasengan variants though

The person who is hit by it will get damaged and his muscles will become stiff. It can also be channeled through the ground to increase the range of attack:

Chidori Senbon (Rank A) uses shape transformation, and the more the chakra use, the more the senbons. It becomes much more effective with sharingen, allowing Sasuke to target enemy’s vital parts:

All of them perform different functions. Naruto's Rsangan are basically still Rasangans. Kishimoto should do something about this. This guy bores me to sleep with the same 'bait and switch' techniques.
