Im into the whole team 7 reunion but in my opinion his change of heart could have been handled better. The main factor of this was that the person that brought Sasuke back to his senses was not Naruto but Hashirama. Naruto has been foreshadowed all this time to be the one to bring Sasuke back and someone else does it? Seems contradictory. It also opens up a bunch of questions as to who this 'young mam' in the prophecy will be. Oro is 54 and Madara is an Edo, so the only 'young man' available at the moment is Obito. Plus it seems as if the whole Hashirama and Madara story did not have an effect on Sasuke's decision as he mainly followed Itachi's words. Obito called him a 'true avenger, the real thing' and at this point there were many hints that Sasuke was not coming back.

I agree, it was done very bad. All the development sasuke went through seems irrelevant now.

Well I agree one the fact his change could have been handled better. It was to sudden and he persuaded by the wrong person. It should have been Naruto not Hashirama, Because of this it seems like all the work Naruto put in, Into trying to save Sasuke from darkness himself was ruined.

I believe though that the Young man who Naruto will fight is still going to be Sasuke. The series has been circled around there fight.

i agree a tad bit and i also disagree.

as seen hasirama brought him back to good with his story and the answers to the questions. and now sasuke is wanting to become hokage to change the history of the past. by ORDERING that he will, after being a nuke-ninja and not gaining peoples hearts.

this is hinted in itachi's words to take care of sasuke to naruto as well as itachi probably foreseen this as always, most of the time.

Naruto will show that you must be known by the people instead of making them know you. (cant spell the one word) in their future fight. just my opinion.

Yea, I was hoping Naruto would be the one to convince him to become good. Though with Kishi there could be some twists.

The one that brought Sasuke back to his senses was Itachi. Itachi telling him that he'd love him no matter what and reminding him that, he himself likely would have been against the coup is what changed him. Hashirama told him the history of the village and Sasuke went from there.

People are also underestimating the impact of Tobirama's explanation of the Uchiha as well, up until then Sasuke believed that his feelings were an abnormality among his clan who put power over love, which is in fact false. This helped him realize that he didn't need to put his revenge over love. He didn't need to strike against those that he cared about, as he did with Taka and Team 7 at the Summit.

It's not bad development of his character, his character development is quite convoluted however.

I don't see Naruto changing Sasuke, this was a path that Sasuke had to go through himself, Naruto changing him would be very out of character for Sasuke and it would only logically aggravate him more.

Sasuke's revenge on the hidden had no relevance to Naruto other than the fact that Konoha was Naruto's home and thus would protect it.

the robot with human hair and djks are right.
it took like 10 chapters to change him, itachi, hashirama, tobirama, hiruzen, and minato all contributed in his decision.self realisation was the only way for sasuke,as he is the only person on which naruto's tnj fails.
naruto's role to change him,and was to made him realise the importance of friends.but as itachi said those who do everything on their own are bound to fail so he did the first task and leave the other to naruto.

also the redemption didn't ended now,its in the process.his change of heart was carried out perfectly,u'll know when u'll see in anime.

naruto converting him would be too predictable and so would sasuke being this young man

naruto cant change sasuke, because he just says the same BS everytime he meets him, he doesnt know anything about a shinobi history and life, while hashirama was a better more wiser person who was able to tell him the truth without deepthroating him to become good. like naruto was

Sasuke turning good at all seemed horrendous to be quite honest with you.

I would have rather he stayed a villain considering we had 175 chapters foreshadowing that.

Instead of having Sasuke's change of heart as direct as Kishimoto had it, I think that Sasuke's decision should've been, "Kill the people who got Uchiha in it's place of isolation" and that would be Madara and Obito who actually helped Itachi kill the clan for his own selfish purposes.

Pretty much this. Another reason he would want to defeat Obito is that he didn't let Sasuke capture Naruto as promised.

Too many weird things happening at the moment:
- Sasuke suddenly thinks he can become Hokage, he can't simply say "hey guys I'm sorry about everything I've done, but anyway I'm going to lead your village from now on".
- I started respecting Karin for not caring about Sasuke anymore after he tried to finish her off, and now she simply forgives him.
- Everybody of the leaf other villages just accepting the fact that Sasuke and Orochimaru join the fight.
- We're pretty much short on villains right now.

It should've been like this; Sasuke finally talks to Minato after talking to the other Kage. He asks, "Who was the Man who attacked?".

Minato's all like, "He was this masked ****** who stopped me from ever being able to get some again . . . ."

At the end, Sasuke's all like, "Da' ****! I've been hating wrong people. I need to go kill Madara and Obito as they put the Uchiha into this shit hole!"

And that's what he does. :)
