No you have got it all wrong.

Uchiha are known for powerful chakra, what this means is that they can use powerful jutsus with a relatively low chakra cost.

This is why even a sick & half blind Itachi was able to maintain susanoo until he died, it explains why sasuke was able to maintain susanoo until he went blind (but still had chakra left over), & it explains why uchiha can control bijuu with ocular genjutsu (because their genjutsu is powerful enough to subdue them) without looking like it has any effect.

It also explains why kamui can be spammed by kakashi as well.

All of these lead to the conclusion that uchiha utilize powerful jutsus, so in contrast it looks like the same thing because they can spam their powerful ocular techniques without losing much in return.

So in conclusion, by manga logic sasuke can spam susanoo for an extreme period of time before he feels the chakra strain, because susanoo itself is not chakra costly. Techniques like shinsuusenju on the other hand take as much chakra as any other jutsu logically would, which is why hashi needed SM in order to increase that reserve even more.

Uchiha = strong chakra, Senju = large reserves

Funny enough, all Mangekyou techniques, and even Katon jutsu are yin heavy compared to the yang heavy FRS. It's not even possible for the ratio of yin/yang to be the same. Mangekyou techniques are naturally yin heavy jutsu.

I believe that with every evolution of susanoo Sasuke's chakra increases. At the Kage Summit Sasuke was able to break out of a Kage level sealing jitsu with pure chakra. Afterwards his Susanoo evolved again and has since improved since gaining EMS. Sasuke has been repeatedly using Susanoo and enton since arriving at the battlefield with no sign if fatigue I would probably put his chakra at bijuu level, but not kyuubi level.

The original 3x claim from the original cloaks (before upgrade) by Naruto was with respect to Kakashi chakra.

As an EMS Uchiha user (one that has been compared to Madara), Sasuke's base chakras are far more powerful than the likes of Kakashi, the difference that the chakra cloak makes will be significantly reduces with respect to what it does for Kakashi.

Also, what feats has Sasuke done that are impossible without the cloak? The tree that he cut wasn't super durable or anything, suiton has cut through it.

So because Sasuke already has powerful chakra, the power up wouldn't affect him much? The hell are you saying, of course it would. The chakra cloaks purpose is to strengthen the user, regardless of what the user is already capable of (you saying his strong chakra will reduce the difference).

And? Can we get an accurate answer about how powerful Sasuke is w/o the chakra cloak while he's using it? Not really, it would be pure speculation. And people have told me that the width and size of the branches affects the durability of it, but I think that's bs as well.

Susanoo is an embodiment of pure chakra. If it was just used by just powerful chakra the quality of the susanoo would decease as it grew in size. The only way to get to something of that size without the quality dropping would be to have more quantity. I am not saying his volume is bijuu level, but simply its mass is bijuu level.

also, you gotta think.. Hashirama, Madara, Tsunade..how old are all they when they get mainly portrayed in the series? Tsunade is 54, idk bout the other two, but both Naruto and Sasuke are only 17. they're way young, especially compared. Now, take their progression and advance it to the elders ages...yeah..thats the comparison. Sasuke has special chakra and manipulates it efficiently, which we've always known he does anyways. The main point was Sasuke recognized and envied Naruto's progression of chakra manipulation, almost a repeat of the rooftop. It's amazing, really.

Sasuke logically cannot output bijuu level chakra, susanoo may be large but that doesnt mean that it has the same quantity of chakra as a bijuu's.

Sasuke's susanoo is powerful, but it isnt dense. It could be as hard as diamond but it could also be paper thin.

Really haven't given much thought to Sasuke chakra supply. But you are right Susano'o is just a manifestation of the users chakra. If Sasuke is to produce Perfect Susano'o the size of Madara's, I would be incline to say he does have Biju level chakra to produce such massive chakra

I have to disagree with OP. Sasuke has above average chakra amount. His chakra amount doesn’t come anywhere close to reaching Naruto's chakra amount.

1st - You have to remember Naruto has been fighting/training much longer that Sasuke. It's been at least a day and a half since Naruto first started. During most of Naruto's training and right after he left the turtle island Kyuubi was draining huge amounts of his chakra. Killer Bee even told Naruto not to use the shadow clone jutsu because it would allow Kyuubi to drain his chakra at an even faster rate and he would die, yet Naruto was still able to use the shadow clone jutsu.

2nd - Sasuke never matched Naruto's chakra amount when they created their scorch jutsu. Sasuke and Naruto just used the correct chakra ratio needed to combine their jutsu together. The manga states fire is stronger that wind. That means if a fire jutsu and wind jutsu on the same level clashes the fire wins. If Sasuke had used the same amount of chakra Naruto did the results would have been a stronger fire jutsu instead of the scorch jutsu they created.
